Federation Gallery

This gallery is a visual treat, your reward for traveling to the east end of Granville Island. One of my favourite ways to spend an afternoon with a friend is to come to the gallery where I can see world-class art at small-town prices. They rotate out their art to display a new curated show every two weeks! The best way to complete this visit is lunch at the Granville Island Hotel, just across the road, where we can talk over a glass of wine about which piece of art we like best.

The Federation of Canadian Artists Gallery has an amazing display of artwork. The staff is very informative and welcoming.The art work is of the highest quality and there are wonderful artists to choose from. Even if you are not looking to buy, you might find a treasure here.Purchases can be mailed to many countries.I'll give it 5 stars based on the quality of the art work.If you are a visitor to Vancouver you can find the gallery on Granville island which is a very popular artistic area. You'll find pottery and print making studios, artists at work, and several restaurants to have lunch, and then browse through the lovely market.

I have been going to the Federation Gallery on Granville Island any time I have been in Vancouver since the 1980s. It is always a worthwhile visit to see fabulous Canadian original art. I exhibit there now as an artist and it is always an honour to be accepted to one of their juried and curated shows.

The Federation Gallery is located on Granville Island, in the heart of Vancouver's art and culture community. This gallery features twice-monthly juried exhibitions of works by emerging and Signature members as well as three juried international open shows held annually; Painting on the Edge, the Annual International Representational Exhibition, and the Annual International Mail-in Art Exhibition.

While on a trip to Vancouver I made a point of visiting Granville island to view the latest exhibit in the Federation Gallery. I was not disappointed. The artwork was truly amazing and was a good representation of work by emerging and established artists from across Canada. I would highly recommend visiting the friendly gallery while enjoying the charm of the island. I will definitely be back.

Founded in 1941, the Federation of Canadian Artists has been working with and promoting an impressive group of painters. Located on the urban jewel of Granville Island, the Federation Gallery has a diverse and revolving lineup of juried exhibitions with art for every type of collector. It also provides a showcase for the artist family in Vancouver and beyond and the friendly volunteers and staff make a visit there a great experience.

It is always a pleasure when in Vancouver, to drop in and view the beautiful artworks on display at the Federation Gallery on Granville Island. It's a wonderful way to relax, unwind and destress after a good walk along the water. The gallery continually displays new works of some of BC's most talented artists. No matter what media you prefer, you'll find it in the FCA Gallery. We live in the Okanagan and our visits to Vancouver would not be complete without a visit to the gallery.
