I went to Dr. Laver as a child with my whole family. We all moved to Calgary and sought a new dentist, and lo and behold, we all had cavities. After having gone to a couple different dentists and seeing how they run their practice, Dr. Laver is not as thorough as any other I've encountered. My family's close friends who also went their entire childhood ran into the same issues. He's a quack. Get yourself some pliers, you'll be better off.

For my whole life cleanings and check-ups have taken at least 30-40 minutes. Usually longer. Dr. Laver and his assistant got me in and out of the office in about 20 minutes. My teeth didn't have that nice clean glossy feel afterwards. First time in my life I left a cleaning and couldn't enjoy that clean feel.Noticed his office didn't have all the equipment (little water pick squirter) that every other office has. Kinda weird. Plus staff openly complained about how busy they were. I don't recommend this office.

My family has been going to Dr. Laver for several years. We have always received the best care. He is always professional and explains what I need to have done. He and his staff are very friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Laver.

I have been a patient of Dr. Laver for close to 30 years now. He and his staff have always been caring and his work has been excellent! He puts me at ease and can be quite entertaining! He has gone above and beyond when I have needed urgent care. I consider him not only my dentist, but also a friend, and I would highly recommend him and his staff. D. Haynes

Had my initial appointment and was extremely happy with very friendly front end staff. I've been to a lot of dentist over the years and never have I had the dentist spend so much time with me. Dr Laver cleaned my teeth himself and the hygentist did the polishing and xrays. My husband has been going to him for years and said it's always that way- he's just a friendly knowledgeable dentist. Will definitely go back!

Dr. Laver and his staff quite literally changed my life for the better. They were both kind and professional while dealing with my fear of dental work. Dr. Laver even met me after hours to accommodate my work schedule. I smile everyday now, something I have been to embarrassed to do for many years. Thank you all

Dr. Laver has been my one and only dentist. I feel very fortunate for that. I have been lucky enough to only require some check-ups, cleanings and films (wisdom teeth were removed elsewhere) but I have always received stellar service. Dr. Laver and his staff (pup included) are very friendly and professional.

As a new arrival to Victoria, I had a dental emergency and called around frantically to find a dentist to look after me.. I discovered that although many advertised emergency care, it really meant an appointment in a week or two. I was lucky enough to find Dr. Laver, who saw me immediately , was kind, caring and promptly took care of my infection. It was after hours and he stayed late to make sure I got the care I needed, and not have to spend another miserable night in pain. What a truly caring dentist, very knowledgeable and concerned for your needs. I have found my dentist in Victoria. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Laver and his team have provided exceptional services and made the dental experience fun for our young children. At the ages of 2 and 3 they are excited to go to the dentist, and always happy to brush their teeth when we remind them of Dr. Laver's lessons!! We couldn't be happier with the care we have received, I recommend his office to everyone!
