REVIEW. Although taking care of a deceased loved one is never easy, everything is so much worse when a death is unexpected, no funds have been put aside, no arrangements made, and everything falls on someone, usually in the family, to do what is necessary. This recently happened to me. Sadly a young man was found deceased, unexpectedly, and I was left to pick up the pieces of this situation. I didn’t know where to start. Because of the situation, I had no choice but to have him cremated. My first experience with cremation. I called several funeral homes and asked for a price on just cremation as I knew there were no funds, and I told them all that cost was a factor. I had applied to Community Services for help as he was on their system, but was denied. Anyway, my point is I was given a name and number of someone who might help me in the City. That was Andrew at East Coast Memorial.I cannot say enough about how helpful Andrew was in helping me every single step of the way. Andrew quoted me a fee from the beginning which was a third of what the others wanted to charge. I wanted to do a dignified cremation and buriel, etc. Andrew is easy to chat with, pleasant, helpful and kind during a rough time. He was always available to me via phone or email. He personally attended at my home. I would highly recommend Andrew George of East Coast Memorial if you are ever in need of a professional advisor who will take care of the entire process with a very fair price, who feels like a friend helping you, call Andrew George, he made everything so much easier for me. Although I live in Truro, he took care of every single detail and attended at my home when necessary. Its never ever easy, but it sure helped to have Andrew assisting me every step of the way.

I can't express enough how Andrew made this difficult time so flawless. No creepy hand on his heart pretending to care and reaching for your pocketbook at the same time. The cost was more than fair.
