Idle Garage & Coffee

I had my motorcycle stored there over winter and asked for a regular post-storage maintenance, cleaning and to reapply glue to my right heated grip on the handlebar as it was slightly loose and would rotate as I would change gears when cutting gas.Went to pick it up late April/early May and as far as I could tell, the maintenance had been completed. I was told the cleaning had also been done, but that since it was raining and would immediately get dirty, they wouldn't charge me for it and to come back another day to have it done again. Getting on the bike, I could tell the cleaning was actually not done as they mentioned, but since I wasn't charged, I didn't give it too much thought and went on. Perhaps whoever served me wasn't communicated the information properly.I was also told they glued the grip, and was charged for it. Unfortunately, that was either another false statement, or the job wasn't done properly, because I noticed just the next day that the grip would still rotate.Staff members were very friendly and pickup went smoothly, but it's difficult for me to trust them now so I can only give 2 stars.

A great coffee shop at an excellent location including a place where you can work on your motorcycle. What a great concept ! Jason the barista is very friendly and professional, the latte is so delicious. Good service. Clean place. Bring your motorcycle and have a coffee, it’s worth it.

I thought it was a great idea to this garage contribute to the community, so I expected something different than dealerships. I called ahead to know whether someone could check my battery problems, and was told to come anytime for a short lookup. When I got there around 1:15 p.m. today, the same guy told me he was on a lunch break. He asked me quite negatively if I wanted him to interrupt his lunch. When I replied I could be back later in the day at some given time, he said he had no moment for it.This is my only vehicle and I cannot wait one month for an appointment. When I left saying that a country where everyone works by appointment is a country of Zeros, he pursued me outdoors to argue with me.Quite a disappointment. I understand that you can't please everyone, but can we at least agree to disagree?Nothing personal

Extremely in the montreal portrait of riders i will be honest.What a REALLY nice place where from the ground up they built a business, garage, challenge for them and the bikers community. And a nice coffee goes with it.I saw many place, recommended but i will ALWAYS say the truth of how i've been served. Idle Garage is the place to go. No BSs, sincere, no tire politics.... Their business is based on bikers religion, how it should be and respect to each others biker from the Racers, naked, sport, vintage like me or etc....Bought my tire from fortnine since no one was able to get those (road 6) but no dealer wanted to install the tires with their politics. Knowing i had a flat. Idle Garage took my bike right away knowing that their schedule are extremely busy for a month. We are many many riders but to a certain point like businesses we know each others. Thank you very much Idle Garage for replacing my tires!

I was on a 5 day moto trip from Toronto to the US. I needed a new rear tire installed urgently and no mechanic I called said they could see me that day. I called Ben and explained the situation and, even though at first he said I could not bring it till the next day, after I explained I had to drive back to Toronto that day, he told me to bring it over. Installed the tire quick, fixed other minor things and I was back on the road! Great looking place and good coffee. Great guys. Would recommended to friends and family.

Amazing coffee, great environment. Gabriel went above and beyond for me. Salt of the earth guy. Would absolutely recommend this spot!!

The place is a nice and clean. First bad sign for a garage. How many spotless garages are good. My bike was a mess and I paid 2500. I broke down on the way home. I paid another 1800 for the redo properly. Basically got overcharged and paid less for the same job.good coffee and thats about it.

This is not the right place to take your scooter for maintenance. While they may claim to offer the service, they lack the necessary expertise. I took my scooter there for a tune-up at the beginning of the season, but since then, it has been leaking oil and leaving stains in my garage. Unfortunately, I couldn't immediately return to address the poor job they did. When I finally went back a couple of weeks later, one of the employees showed a negative attitude towards me, unlike the friendly demeanor I encountered during my initial visit. I cannot recommend this garage for scooter repairs.

I would recommend! I had my rear tire changed there and the job was done perfectly and professionally. The espresso was great too! ☕
