Fairfield Inn and Suites, BarrieWhen I went to hang my shirt up in the closet, noticed a needle sticking out. Then noticed others.Upon closer inspection, noticed the needles said, “insulin” on them. I believe insulin to be a clear liquid but these syringes had brown residue in them. Heroine?Had I pricked my hand while hanging up my shirt, well, I’d probably have taken action other than write this review.I mentioned the exposed syringes to the front desk clerk upon leaving the hotel for the safety of the person(s) cleaning the room.Never heard back from management so I guess that was that.

I booked a room in Niagara Falls for tonight. Because there was a view of the Falls, the p[rice was exorbitant ($311 USD). The people I was bringing to the Falls were due to arrive from the UK today and we were heading to the Falls. The flight was delayed and I called to change the reservation. they said the price to change would be $389 USD! How could the change fee be more than the original price of the room? Last time I book in a Marriott EVER!!! Only giving one star because it won't let me post with none.

Book with Hilton or any other chain, avoid the Marriott chain as they don't care for their customers.Horrible experience, they have no sense of how to provide a positive experience or how to treat their valued customers. In summary, I was looking to book a one night stay for my family and I at the mentioned hotel for an upcoming cruise and I wanted to redeem my points. There is a package that includes the hotel night, parking for the duration of the cruise as well as shuttle service for a cost of $269 USD.When I attempted to book, I was told that your loyalty program does not allow us to redeem points for packages, only rooms. Odd as Hilton allows it for their members.Regardless, I asked what options I had and they offered me to book the one night stay with points and then pay for the 8 additional days of parking at $25/day and then $40/person for the shuttle which brings my total to $360 plus the fact that I have to redeem points for my stay, makes no sense at all.When I followed up and asked the hotel to make an exception and allow me to book my night with points and charge me an incremental $100 USD for the parking stay and shuttle, they came back to me offering $100 for the parking and $40/person for the shuttle which brings my total to $260 USD which is the full cost of the package and once again I would have to redeem points.How does this make sense and how is this customer friendly? Basically I either have to pay more than the package and give up points or just buy the package which then the question becomes, why do I even stay at your facilities if your loyalty program offers no perks or flexibility? Maybe I should just take my business elsewhere?When I mentioned this to your loyalty program representative, I was shocked when he said Sorry Mr....

Constant phone calls saying we have won a trip calls keep coming despite asking to be removed from calling list. Even called head office and they give you a number to call but it's an adult sex line. Terrible way to do business

On a recent stay (2 nights) the sides of the kitchen table was crusty(Not washed properly) and the ironstone bed side table was crusty as wellI enjoyed my stay with my 2 grandsons and will do it again. I entered the night of. 18th of March and out on Sunday noon. We never used the kitchen table. We ate out. When are the room cleaners ever gonna get over the idea that because it doesn't look used, does not mean it's clean.I'll bet if you went to room 416 in the Moncton Marriott inn you will find the side of the kitchen table crusty. Cleaning course might help.I tried to go on the review page, but it expired !

This company location out of Belleville, Ontario would not accomidate a family of 9 after accommodating the estimate of $23,000.00 for 3 months for 2 attached rooms, not sure if it's due to our aboriginal background, all was fine until personal information became disclosed. We were all set to go had all details in explanation of our family size, needs and time needed, they gave an estimate and said we could obtain. Called back later to provide booking, they asked a few more questions and all of a sudden the manager said we didn't fit the need of the hotels bookings as they were seeking to not have their guests disturber by our family size. All that was disclosed past the initial contact for obtaining was our heritage, the sales team expressed their change of mind came from the managers past experience in another hotel with a large family. Family friendly it states, so I would kindly ask where this stereo type falls, family size or ethnic background?

How do I get in touch with you so you can take me off your call list? You call at least once a day. If this doeant stop I will no longer stay with you ever again. Your customers need to know they go on a call list once they've stayed with you. This is harassment!

I was a guest that stayed at the Marriot Atlanta Airport Hotel. This past Saturday after coming from a wedding and reception at another venue. I just wanted to go back to the room and shower and relax. Needless to say upon arrival there was no power. One elevator working no lights, no hot water n. Just an awful experience I have never experienced. And management was rude and no consideration

Customer service is nice but they are not very helpful when you really need help ....they also gave me the wrong information which could cost me my elite status :(
