Lovely campground easy off the highway. Beautiful sites, very well maintained. Clean bathrooms. Our site was on the lake and there is a lovely beach in the campground. Beautiful calm lake and the sites are large. No wifi and intermittent cell service are the only negative. Would come back if passing thru again. Highly recommend this place.

Great park. Owners really nice and helpful. Nice small lake, didn't have much luck fishing. Sites are a bit tight. Very quiet midweek.

This was a nice camping spot I usually tent when I'm on the road and I've been very frustrated lately that all the campgrounds in Ontario seem to be around 40 or $50 to set up a tent! That doesn't make any sense to me it's a tent?! Anyway I called a few places and they were between the $40 and $50 marker and then I found happy holiday campground and it was $28. I was half expecting their not to be much to do or not a very nice place but it turned out to be beautiful. And the people are so friendly not just the owners but a lot of people that are there all the time. My dog ran around and everyone seemed fine with it. Lots of kids having lots of fun games. The power is out when I went there so instead of charging me $28 in taxes they just charged me $20 cash flat. So all in all a wonderful experience

I’m not even sure where to start. First off Brenda was incredibly rude and disrespectful towards me and my family. She cursed us out as soon as we arrived for absolutely no reason and after talking to other campers they admittedly had a similar experience when dealing with her. The campground was also very crammed and with sites being super close this really sucked. We also found that the bathrooms were really dirty lacking in soap and toilet paper for most of our trip. I recommend that you avoid camping here at all costs.

Stayed Friday, June 29 and left July 2/18. Friendly and helpful new owners. Located on a small lake with small beach. Many people went swimming. Watercraft available to rent. Saw people fishing. Master comfort station was rustic, but clean and fully functional with toilets and showers. Unserivced sites for tenters, electrical, water, and grey water plumbed sites for RV/travel trailers. Most of the campground apprears to service seasonals. Our trailer site was adjacent to the lake - lovely. Playground for kids. They had festivities for Canada Day (group pit-luck dinner, live music of country flavour, and fireworks!). Would stay again.

Owners are very accommodating. The campgrounds are clean and quiet. The sites are well maintained and seem private. I definitely recommend Happy Holiday campground.

Happy Holiday Campground and Cottages
The owners are very accommodating and friendly. We were coming through in mid October when campgrounds are almost all closed. They opened for us and turned on the electricity.it is a beautiful campground with a private lake and big campsites. There is a clear pride in ownership there as everything is neat and tidy, but the natural beauty of the area has been preserved.Even though we were there for just one night, we really enjoyed this site and would definitely stay again.

My family has been coming here for a few years and this was our last year. Sadly, the owner Brenda has been rude to us on many occasions. The bathrooms were lacking in supplies over the long weekend and they were quite messy as well. It’s a lovely lake and view from the sites, just not impressed with the staff. We’ll be camping elsewhere next summer.
