Ottawa City Rafting

Kids had lots of fun running the rapids, body surfing, and cliff jumping. Water was nice and warm. Guides were super friendly and knowledgeable. If you are expecting high adrenalin rapids like the upper Ottawa this isn't the trip.

We want to thank you for another awesome evening out. Honestly - you guys and your team are great. Rapids, cliff jumping and the relaxing lazy river were all very enjoyable. Lots of good laughs and thanks for sharing all that info about the area. We all live in Ottawa but nice to learn more about our beautiful backyard.

Josh was our tour guide and he was fantastic! He had a lot of knowledge of the history in the area and it was a safe & fun experience! Highly recommend as a great tourist attraction!

We had a great time rowing and swimming through the river and jumping off the rocks for three hours. That was in the morning of Tuesday 5th July.In order not to lose our keys and phones, we were asked to put them in a box until the end of the trip. And our group guide, Jim, told us that he would take a picture of us with his mobile phone and then send it to us by e-mail. He confirmed this to everyone after completion, but unfortunately, I and my sister did not get the pictures, although I waited until Thursday evening and then sent him a message via his mobile number, but did not get any response.We have lost documenting those moments that brought me together with my sister, who came from North Carolina, and we wanted to have beautiful memories of the trips we took together :(I advise everyone to keep their mobile phones with them so that they feel happy when they see the pictures of their moments on that trip in the future. Never believe and do not depend on anyone's promise. As a result, unfortunately, I could not add any photos to encourage the others to go.Finally, my sister received the pictures in her email yesterday July 9! Thank you Jim

Ottawa city rafting is the best! Not only did I get to experience going rafting on the Ottawa River with my daughter, this organization, led an outdoor adventure camp with Dovercourt that my daughter was able to participate in before the pandemic. The staff that work at Ottawa city rafting were amazing. My daughter had such an amazing experience, she still talks about how great it was to this day. We're looking forward to vacation this summer to once again head out on the Ottawa River to experience first-hand how amazing are rapids are.

Despite reserving for the wrong date, Kat and her colleagues accomodated my out-of-town visitors and me for the afternoon trip. Olivier was a fantastic guide and we had an enjoyable afternoon on the Ottawa River. He was knowledgable about the history of the area and made the trip fun for everyone. He took great photos which he shared with us. My visitors, enjoyed the experience. Just enough thrills to keep a 16 yo entertained without terrifying the adults.

With Canada Day 2020 looking like just another day hanging out at home as part of our family COVID-19 coronocation, I saw that Ottawa City Rafting was opening up for a floating family bubble of awesomeness. Though we were a little nervous being one of the first families to cruise down the Ottawa river in this brave new world, it turned out to be an incredible way to spend the day. Jim, our experienced rafting guide, story teller, history buff and all-around solid dude, led my family bubble of 8 people on an 3 hours cruise through family-friendly-but-still-super-fun class rapids, body surfing, cliff jump and a relaxing Lazy River" float. Blessed by both Zeus and Mother Nature herself

This 3 hour tour was perfect for my family of 5 (youngest kid is 5.5yrs)! Everyone had a blast and each of us did things we have never done before...body surfing, cliff jumping, lazy river floating & bridge hanging. Even though we live in Ottawa the guides taught us so much history about the Ottawa River and the views of downtown from the rivers are remarkable. I would recommend this adventure to anyone!
