This place is a hidden gem! I suggest coming here with an empty stomach because the portions are huge...and they have the best spaetzle in town!

It is a very interesting Austrian restaurant located in Chinatown. I could not find parking near the restaurant on the streets, so I went to a pay parking building on Keefer Street and walked a few blocks to get to the restaurant.Once I stepped into the restaurant, it was very Austrian" design on the walls

Portions are massive. Meals are a bit on the heavy side, but the flavours are rich. It is true comfort food.

Great ambience and tastes as good as it looks. Price is not cheap for a cafe but the portion is HUGE and value is good. Service is very friendly too.

Klaus's Kaffeehaus
Unique place for brunch and no lone up or long waits, which was nice comparing to many other Vancouver brunch restaurants. The food is Austrian style and the friendly owner came out and asked us how everything was. The outside was pretty sketchy as it is located in Chinatown, but there's definitely a huge difference between appearance and reality.

Klaus's Kaffeehaus
A nice cozy restaurant with classical music and vintage books and kitchen supplies as decor. The food is magnificent. Everything was rich with flavour and you can tell that the chef puts his heart into every dish. The portions are massive, so you won’t leave hungry! The service was also really great! I will definitely be back. :)

Klaus's Kaffeehaus
Great place for Austrian food and atmosphere. If he isn't too busy, Klaus comes out to greet the customers and chat. The schnitzel brunch is only served on weekends but it's worth the wait. Finish off with the strudel if you can fit in any more food!

Klaus's Kaffeehaus
The interior is nicely decorated, and has a great atmosphere. The outside looked a bit grungey but it does not translate to the inside! Food prices are a bit steep for brunch but so worth it. The portions are huge! I noticed alot of people taking leftovers home. Flavour was great, loved every bite. The pork belly was amazing, the skin was crispy and the stuffing was delicious. I ordered the schnitzel and it was so flavourful! I couldn't stop munching even though I was full. I would come back to try the apple strudel, heard its amazing! Only reason I wouldn't come back is due to how long it takes the food to arrive. Well worth the time though, just be forewarned that you may be waiting a while for (really good) food!

Nice to find a splash of Austria in Chinatown. We had brunch here and everyone has a great meal and experience.
