I can't say enough about One Axe! These guys are outstanding! My husband and I have done the rock climbing, ice climbing and outdoor mountaineering course with them and we will be back for more! You don't have to be very athletic either because they will go at your level/pace! This is such an amazing experience and well worth it! Especially during this time of Covid - we aren't spending money on travel so we can spend it on experiences like the ones that One Axe provides!

I did one of their ice climbing course in Elora. It was amazing. We had a small group of 5 and had many different routes available to climb again and again. It was a fantastic experience and I'd highly recommend it to anyone. I hope to do it again sometime soon.

The Snow Climb + Cliff rappelling program at One Axe is definitely one of the most breathtaking activities one could find in all of Ontario, both in terms of the beautiful scenery as well as the amount fresh air and good exercise it provides.Frederick is a very friendly and knowledgeable expert. ONE AXE RULES! Frederick is a legendary mountaineer with incredible expertise and a love of teaching. Christa is a total pro and a joy to work with. I’ve been going to One Axe for ice climbing lessons over the past year in order to prepare for upcoming alpine trips. Looking forward to mountaineering and rescue courses next!

You get an instant feeling that you are in safe hands with Frederick. I'm beyond grateful to have had one of the best teaching us, who's passionate about teaching others. My husband and I had the opportunity to try out cliff and urban rappelling and so glad we did! It was such an exhilarating way to spend time with your significant other and a time we will never forget. I know we will be back!!! Thanks again Fred and Christa :)

The urban repelling was SO much fun! The day was organized seamlessly by Christa and the day of the rappelling Fredrick was super personable and made us feel ultra safe. My daughter was going to cancel since she had sprained her finger just the day before but they went above and beyond to make her feel totally comfortable. Can't wait to try gorge repelling and zip lining and I fully intend to bring some of my groups out as well!
