Saratoga Beach Access Park
My partner and I circumnavigated vancouver island by sea kayak, we departed from Saratoga beach by on May 29th 2022 and paddled north first, then down the open west coast before passing Victoria and moving north up the straight past Nanaimo, Comox and finally ended where we started right here on Saratoga beach on July 28, 2022. After paddling the entire island, we can safely say this beach is special, with some of the friendliest, inviting water. We hope you enjoy and respect this beach.Photo is of us being reunited with our dog after 61 days apart

Saratoga Beach Access Park
This is a beach accessible parking lot with bathroom. It's a very nice beach for families. Try to come when the tide is out if you want to build sand castles. When the tide is in the beach is just rocks.

Saratoga Beach Access Park
Longtime favourite place of mine. Perfect for relaxing walks and good place for photographers, especially if you're a birder. Great location for kayaks and paddle boards. Really great for kite flying when the wind is right. Plenty of sand, and the tide takes its time coming in. Can get pretty busy on nice summer days. Parking can be a challenge. Watch out for the tiger mosquitoes during the warmer season. If you're down on the beach you'll be safe from them, bonus if it's windy. They've been really nasty the last few years.
