Grounded Coffee Company

Visited last week for the first time. This place is located in the “heart of downtown” on the waterfront. They have very tasty coffee and delicious home-made creative baked goods of all sorts.The prices are slightly more expensive than Tim Hortons, but not quite as steep as Starbucks is, on average. The staff and friendly and personable.If you’re looking for something fun to do on a Sunday, grab a coffee from here and walk along the water. What a fantastic place.Will definitely be back !

This place has always had a great environment and service. Today I came in at the busiest time and that didn’t change a thing. Not an open table in sight, but the owner was nice enough to set up an extra table for my friend and I so we could stay at grounded. The server had great suggestions for the menu options and the atmosphere was fabulous. I love this place

Pretty happy with the coffee and sweets. It has a clear washroom and few tables. Highly recommended the nitro cold coffee.

New cafe in Midland. They serve hot/cold drinks, smoothies, pastries, and more. Great place to grab your daily caffeine, hang out with friends, or do some work. They have seats both inside and outside of the cafe. Drinks are a little pricy, but have great taste. They even have toys to keep your kids entertained while you’re enjoying your drink.

Great spot for a cup of Java. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, free wifi. Quite the busy spot in Midland. Close to the waterfront/trails.

Went to the door an hour after closing time because I'm new to the area, and didn't know their hours. The person who was still there opened the locked door and gave me a tour, plus I was able to buy some coffee. Their service here is incredible. I will certainly be back.

Ok were lucky to live in Midland and have this amazing coffee shop! I always have the Oat milk latte and peanut butter cup brownie. I will tell you this is an amazing shop! everyone is nice the coffee is amazing! And the sweets are made by an amazing baker!!What are you waiting for? stop reading and head over, I guarantee you wont be disappointed.Thank you for the great atmosphere, smoothie, latte and amazing brownie!!

Good coffee but bothered me about my dog. I understood that I couldn’t bring him in but he is my ESA (emotional support animal) signed off by multiple doctors and has a visible tag on him. They told me that he was not an ESA (when he is) and suggested that I was lying because he “didn’t have a vest on”. Many ESA dogs don’t wear vests because they are not service dogs, it is a choice too. I told them I was already leaving which they must’ve known but did not feel welcomed by the staff. Felt a lot of passive aggressiveness about my sweet dog who was not disturbing anyone that I know of. He was quiet and I was holding him the whole time. He was sad after this.

We found this cafe on the recommendation of someone in town and it didn't disappoint. While from the outside it looks a bit industrial, inside the staff, coffee, music and vibe make for a stellar place. And who doesn't love the bear they drew on my daughter's hot chocolate?!

Came here during the Tall Ships festival. Wonderful experience and delicious fresh made coffee here. The staff was really nice and we were not rushed to leave when we took a seat. I ordered a large Americano and carrot cake—which was very delicious and prepared on site. I look forward to coming back here again.
