Good food, great server. However the plates that the food came on was ice cold (it was only -7 outside) then they put hot food on cold plates, and the transfer of cold to heat, the food is cooled quite quickly. My wife said that hers was the same way. We had arrived at 11:45 ish and it was not busy at all, so they can not say they got slammed. Fix it please.

1st - Great staff.Steak is bad!! price for bad steak is equally hard to chew.Mushrooms were rawNothing good about a $40 plate of food.

Service was good.But I asked for absolutely no salt on my burger and fries due to health issues.Sadly, the meal came loaded with salt.Good thing is my son was super hungry and ate the fries.Server apologized then walked away.We are locals, and have been here several times and it’s a 50/50 chance of service and food being good.There are a lot of choices in Spruce Grove for restaurants, so we will move on from here.Too bad.Love the sports on the TVs.

I do love State & Main but this visit my wife had a chicken burger as thin as paper. More breading than meat. My wife isn’t one to complain and just couldn’t believe they would charge 20$ for a chicken burger that had more lettuce than chicken. I will go back as I do enjoy this restaurant but we’ll definitely never order a chicken burger from there again. Honestly look at the picture lol.

Popped in here for lunch I was working in the area grabbed their fish and chips. Food was fast fresh and hot. Piece of fish was clearly huge and haddock everything on my plate was great. Will be back for sure.

Service was good, staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good but a little overpriced and the drinks were waaaaay overpriced, would rate this much higher if there were better specials or just less ridiculously priced drinks! A place should be trying to bring people in, not pricing them out, right?

The food was pretty good, I had the Main Burger with a poutine. I really like the seasoning on the fries and the taste of the burger. The customer service from our server was alright.

Service is great but food was over salted and couldn't tell which was the beef burger and which was chicken because it was burnt. Also the Main is just a big mac. That's a pic of the chicken burger
