Bought a battery from them 3 months ago. It died. Has a 36 month warranty. They refused to trade it in with out receipt.

Carquest is one of the best auto parts stores but.....The people who works in this location are so RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL !!!! I'll never forget how I waited 40 minutes outside the store(during covid) just to get a tape !!!!!!!!!!! They asked me to call them from outside and I did and ordered (but they gave me my order after 40 minutes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't get it. I've been buying parts here for a couple years now and I don't know why, every single one I brought home has been the wrong part, and I've had to go back and say no too big or too small or complete wrong fit and get the right one.This time will be the last. I asked for a part, the clerk said driver and passenger side are the same (I knew it wasn't gonna be as Google told me so) and gave me the part confidently. Brought it home, of course wrong side. I've done this many a time with them thinking it might be something I said wrong but 9 times too many to give the wrong part.Only up side is the clerk's are pretty nice, I just can't waste my time going there anymore.

Be careful. Caution!Watch very carefully detail of everything you buy here before paying your money.Some faulty and defective parts are mixed with good parts the staff try to sell with regular price.Faulty parts can make damage seriously your car and it is so dangerous to drive !

I have never experienced an auto parts company not having the parts I needed until I came here. I was looking for a window regulator for my Honda and the guy behind the desk said that none of his suppliers had one. Most cars have power windows and you would expect them to have the part. I have never experienced this at any other parts suppliers or retailers in my 25 years of driving. They better step up to the game before customers start using Amazon.

The customer service I received today was absolutely terrible. The gentleman at the desk was completely dismissive. The first thing I said was “hello” and got back “what do you need?”. I tried to show him the photo I took of my car’s manual, to find out what type of fuse I needed and he brushed me off, saying i’d have to bring the fuse in. Perhaps he picked up on the fact that i’ve never had a fuse blow in my car and that I had no idea I had to bring it in, but he completely blew me off. Stunned by his attitude, I turned around to leave and didn’t even get so much as a “have a nice day”, as he picked up the phone to answer a call, without saying another word to me.I have never left a poor review for any business before, but I just needed to share this experience.
