Strewn Winery

Beautiful venue, welcoming service, amazing wine and food! I stopped by at this winery to taste some local wine and food on my bike trip. The barrel aged chardonnay was very nice and made a great pair with the creamy gnocchi I ordered. The balsamic vinaigrette that came with bread was really tasty too I would've bought a bottle if I could pack it in my bag. I can definitely see myself going back some other time! Highly recommended.

Sherri-Lynn was wonderful and fun! We enjoyed learning about the wines and tasting. My favorites were the Riesling and the 2017 Merlot!

Thank you Juan for a very special experience. We popped into Strewn on our anniversary to try and find a wine we’d had at a restaurant and loved. Every staff member was incredibly helpful and just lovely. We left with much more wine than expected and big smiles. They made our day. Can’t wait to come back!

Strewn was recommended by friends and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this winery! We made a stop while spending a few nights at Niagara on the Lake. During our visit, we were fortunate enough to have Juan to guide us with our tasting-he is a true gem and went above and beyond! Knowledgable, friendly and professional, he took the time to answer all of our questions and shared lots of information about their wines. This will definitely be an added stop on our future visits!

Beautiful small winery. We had the best service ever. From the lady that works the store (Mariam maybe?, apologies as I forgot) who was nice, gentle, helpful and extremely polite to the gentleman that served us at the tasting.We felt welcomed, well served. The wines are really nice. I tried mostly whites and my husband red. The variety and the good quality is astonishing. They also provide a small bag of chips and they do take their time explaining and getting your feedback. In all, a wonderful experience and I would gladly go back for more of their wines which we of course also purchased at their store.I forgot to mention that when I phoned to make the booking, I was assisted by a wonderful and sweet lady as well.This place makes you feel like you are home...just tasting wines too.Our favourite this time: A Cabernet Savignon Sandy Block and a Pinot Grigio.

Had another wonderful visit to Strewn Winery. My wife and I visited the last weekend of February, a great time to visit during the off season. We had a wine tasting and we were immediately welcomed by Fabian our sommelier. Fabian was very versed in the wine and showed a great passion for Strewn and the Niagara on the Lake region. This is one of our favorite wineries whenever we visit and we highly recommend stopping in. They have a variety of wines for all tastes. Never a disappointment. We went there at noon, a mistake, since the right time seemed later in the afternoon closer to 4PM, but nevertheless, we did manage to taste a good selection of their wines. The hostess did justice - I forget her name, sadly - serving us their Muselet, Cabernet and all sorts of other wines to taste. We were the only ones in that tasting room. This was our first wine tasting venture, but then once I got the hang of it, we kept it going for a while. I ended up buying a few bottles for home to be paired w cheese. Overall, we walked out of there w a very good feeling as if we accomplished something positive. In reality, I sipped thru a bunch of wines, tasting them leisurely first like a pro, then swallowing the rest in one gulp before moving on to the next one, a technique I have seen my uncle do it effortlessly. He never wasted even a drop of any kind of alcohol. Afterward, we went to the butterfly conservatory at my daughter's insistence and walked around, a repeat performance from last year, but a good match after the wine tasting, and that was followed by a leisurely dinner. All in all, a day well spent in activities that my mother wouldn't have approved of, drinking in the afternoon w my daughter, butterfly watching ...

Our Strewn winery tour was fantastic. Everyone was welcoming and informative about the wine making process. The wines we tasted were unique and lovely. Michele our tour guide was excellent and went above and beyond to make our experience comfortable on a rainy day. Highly recommend this winery. We wish we could buy the wine in the states to support this small business!

My sister and I had a premium Terroir Tasting with Maureen on April 22nd. What an absolute gem. She spent time with us suggesting food pairing for the different wines we sampled. She definitely made our wine tasting experience exceptional. Maureen helped us broaden our taste for different wines. Ones we didn’t even think we would have enjoyed. She differently made our experience unique.Thank You Maureen for everything!

We booked a 45-min wine tasting and vineyard tour; everything was booked online seamlessly. We had Dow as our guide and he was absolutely wonderful and very pleasant. Dow walked us through the vineyard and explained the different grape varieties and gave us the background and history of Strewn Winery. The wine tasting was conducted outdoor under a spacious tent. Dow was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. It was such an amazing experience and would highly recommend to anyone who would like to learn more about the region and love dry wines! Thank you Dow for a wonderful afternoon and being such an awesome guide!
