Great authentic tacos! The birria tacos was perfect especially when dipped in the spicy consommé . The chips and guacamole was good too.Highly recommended, and I would definitely come back to try other items on the menu.

We have walked by this place so many times and regret not trying it sooner. Our food was amazing, fresh, and full of flavour.The Enchiladas Verde were a knockout, especially with the rice and beans they are served with. The Sopes were bright and full of flavour, and the cook on the corn flour shell was absolutely perfect! Their Bulldog might be the best we have ever had. For desert you must try their version of the Tres Leches cake, which isn’t as sweet as the traditional variation.The pricing is extremely fair, given the quality and execution of the dishes. They also have a daily special [See Photo]. The interior is casual, cozy, and colourful.The service was top notch. I believe the owner served us, and he was outstanding and very welcoming to us.

We're used to getting complimentary chips and salsa ... but not here.The food was mild and not really enough on the plate to satisfy. I'm not a big guy, but I could have had more.Seems like lots of money for a small meal.

I was really torn with this review. For the most part the food was good and the service as well. The problem was that the guacamole tasted fishy. On its own it’s not a big deal but then the waiter, when we brought it to his attention, tried to tel us that some of the ingredients are similar to ceviche (onion cilantro etc) so we just think it’s fishy. My dad has lived in Mexico for part of the year for decades and I’ve spent a lot of time there. I’ve had a lot of ceviche and a lot of guacamole. Don’t try to pull one over on me. Lack of stars is for the attitude. I did give them 3 not 2 stars because they did remove it from the bill without us asking.

Having been to Mexico about 10-15 times a year, this place is authentically Mexican and one of the best! I truly enjoyed my burrito with soy protein. I will definitely be back

Probably my favorite Mexican restaurant in the city. Burritos was amazing. I forger what my girlfriend had, but that was also some of the most amazing things I have eaten in my life. I was thinking about going back again tonight ! I went a few months ago and it was delicious. 10/10

The best Mexican restaurant we’ve been to here in Calgary.If you want to eat and try the authentic taste of Mexican food then you need to come and visit here. Their food and drinks are the best. I have been working in a Mexican restaurant in the U.S with the real Mexican cook and owner for more than two years So I know how each meal taste, and in here they have it.We tried a lot of Mexican restaurant around here but BODEGA is the best. You should try it too if you happen to love Mexican food as well.

Authentic Mexican food in a cozy little restaurant. I came for lunch today with my Mexican friend and we both enjoyed our meal and plan to be back. Large enough portions that I didn't eat dinner tonight. The Birria Consomme was delicious and that loco burrito was bigger than I thought it would be.
