Nicholas Collister Contracting

We were happy with the contractor for the repairs he did in and around our home, until he was nearly finished with the repair of our shower in the ensuite bathroom. He damaged some floor tile in the shower with his ladder, which he acknowledged and stated that he would return a couple of weeks later to do this, as well as install the waterproofing 'guard' among other finishing touches in the ensuite shower. This was February 2022 and he never returned as promised. He stopped responding to our texts and messages. To add insult to injury, one of the leaks he fixed in our garage is now leaking again.

100% pleased with the bathroom renovation they did. Needed new tiling around bath/shower combo, with an existing small window in the middle. They also replaced the bathtub, fixtures, flooring and did painting. During the assessment they checked and recommended removal of the bulkhead. It was serving no purpose and moved the ceiling higher, which made the room seem larger. Their communication with me throughout was excellent. Whether it was to check my preference for placement of things, or to let me know when something was off and they had to make adjustments to what normally would be done. They arrived daily on time, and worked continuously through the day. Definitely not slackers! At the end of each day they cleaned up so tools and garbage weren't left all over. Nick also came back 2 days later to fix a very small area that got missed when painting. Great job!

My air vent cover broke. It's not easily seen since it's on the second floor at the back of the house. A bird got in a broke my dryer. I did get the dryer fixed and ducts cleaned. Now, I'm in a rush to get the vent cover replaced before birds find their way back in.I contacted Nicholas on Saturday afternoon and sent pictures. I needed the vent cover replaced before the next snowfall. Nicholas was extremely responsive and came the next day. He replaced the vent and patched up some siding that had come loose. I'm impressed that Nicholas responded so quickly for a small job. Very professional and highly recommended!!
