We had purchased plans for a home addition a few years ago and decided not to proceed with construction at the time. We decided this year to go ahead and got in touch with Rob to see if the plans were still valid and what the process would be to obtain a building permit. Rob was great, he took care of the whole process including updates to the plans to ensure they met the City of Calgary's current requirements, obtained an engineer's approval and handled the permit submission to the City (which was done in under 7 days as promised!). I would highly recommend Seven Day Permits to anyone pursuing their own construction project.

The staff at 7 Day Permit did a fantastic job on our unconventional backyard suite design. Walk us through the design and permit process. They provided outside of the box solutions for challenges with bylaws and city restrictions. Unfortunately due to logistical challenges, we decided not move forward with the project. We still plan to use 7 Day Permit for next projects.

We contacted Rob at Seven Day Permits to assist with our commercial building permit. We tried submitting ourselves and the City came back asking for a bunch of additional information as well as Mechanical and Electrical drawings. Rob was able to work with the City and explain that this was not needed, he got our permits pushed through and approved without needing to submit anything else. Rob's understanding of the permitting process and Building Code potentially saved us thousands of dollars, anyone else could have easily taken advantage of our scenario and simply charged us for getting the additional documents and drawings the City was asking for. Highly recommend this company to anyone that needs a permit!
