Okinawa Sushi Blackfalds
My husband and I are new to blackfalds and love sushi so we were pleasantly surprised that blackfalds has a great little sushi restaurant. The interior could use some refreshing/updating but the food is great, and every server we’ve had has been beyond friendly!

It was very busy when we ate there and they didn't have very much staff so our food took a while to arrive but the hostess apologizes and provided some complimentary edamame to compensate for the long wait.We were both very impressed with our food when it arrived and it was worth the wait.

Best sushi ever! We had a wonderful long lunch in the quiet atmosphere with great service and amazing food! It was also very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back :-)

In search of other sushi place has led me to this location. Ambiance is ok. The spring roll - I think there’s more other tasty than they have.Overall, there’s really nothing special !

Okinawa Sushi Blackfalds
I'll start with the positive. Some friends of ours told us to come here, since we love sushi and they said the sushi was great. We were greeted and seated right away as the restaurant was not overly busy. We were impressed with the extensive menu of options. We ordered some spicy sushi roles and they came very quickly. They were well prepared but not at all spicy. They still tasted good and we were pleased with them. We also ordered green tea and two different udon soups. Unfortunately these were not good at all. The tea was cold and flavourless and both types of udon were the most flavourless we had ever tried. Almost like water vs broth. The waitress never returned to our table to ask if everything was okay, so we just finished quickly and left disappointed. I'm confident if we had stuck with ordering sushi we would have had been happy with the food as our rolls were fine. I would go back, but I would skip the udon and the tea and sit closer to the server station. I might also bring some spices with me from home as they seem to apply them sparingly. In all we had a disappointing experience, which was unfortunate since we made a special trip out, three towns over to try the food our friends raved about.

The food was delicious , fresh and flavorful! Staff was welcoming , friendly and personable , a lovely experience! Worth the drive in from Red Deer , prices cannot be beat. I will certainly be back
