Just had phone call with Garry at the downtown Tom Harris. Good to talk to a real live human for starters. No hold time at all. He patiently answered all my questions. He was efficient, respectful, understanding and knowledgeable. He took the time to help me learn and figure out how to use my Telus tv stuff. The sales person was very helpful and competent and was able to eventually get me the kind of prepaid service I was looking for. However, it seemed that Telus (Tom Harris??) made it unnecessarily complicated for me to purchase a prepaid SIM card.

AI is fine, but if you want to deal with some helpful, courteous humans you'll find some here. They even suggested a cheaper plan when I accidentally selected one that didn't match my typical usage. Thanks Garry and Joy.
