My wife and I brought some friends visiting the area to San Juan island and we saw great reviews for Amaro farm so we wanted to visit. We cannot emphasize enough how awesome this farm and its owners are! It was actually closed when we stopped by, but the owner Lance was outside and kind enough to invite us in anyways to meet the sheep and some brand new lambs who were outside enjoying the sun. All of the animals were adorable and very well cared for including the farm cat and dog. Lance was also incredibly informative regarding information about the farm and the care the animals require. We will certainly be back in the future when it’s actually planning for visitors haha. The experience totally made our day. Make a visit! You won’t regret it.

We took the tour and got to feed and hold the lambs. They were very cute and gentle! Store has lots of quality woolen items. They are working on opening a distillery as well. Owner is super friendly and knowledgeable about the island and told us a lot about their special breed of sheep. Definitely worth a trip!

My friend and I were bike packing around the island and were lucky enough to find this lovely place! We met the owners, Lance and Rami, and their family members while at the farm. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the place was BEAUTIFUL. We’re so excited to come back and visit again.

Great experience. Must stop by when visiting Friday Harbor. The owner, Lance, was very friendly and informative. The sheep and lambs were sooooo cute. You may even meet their farm dog and cat. Family friendly place, all ages :) can’t wait to visit again with the rest of my family.

Lance and his wife were very welcoming. They showed us around the whole farm. You are able to feed, pet and hold the sheeps which makes it a wonderful experience. I would absolutely recommend visiting here and taking a sheep tour!

Absolutely the most picturesque inland farm on the island! The owners are very genuinely welcoming people who love to share their knowledge with visitors. Their sheep cheese is even better than their hospitality, and that’s saying something! Late summer is a great time to visit as they’ve just had some new lambs! We got to hold, snuggle and play with a few of them and learn about their breed history. A must do for visitors of all ages!!

Lance and his family are so fun, informative, and generous. I take all my visitors to the farm and they all have a great time. The store has a great selection and it'll be even better when the distillery opens.

We discovered Amaro Farm in 2021 and instantly fell in love. We bought a beautiful hand made crib mobile for our future children and it is so special to us. The owners are incredibly friendly and Lance is quick to show you around the farm. You can instantly tell how deeply he loves and takes pride in his animals. We held two ADORABLE baby lambs and even got to bottle feed one of them. We love Amaro Farm and always look forward to our visits!!!
