I am a big fan of this course. It's always a challenge, even when I'm hitting well. There are some really cool hole designs. It can dry out from time to time, but when it's green, it's excellent and I try to play whenever I am in the area. The course is a combination of parkland style and desert links style, and there are some really cool hole designs. Wind blows weird on some holes, which really adds to the enjoyment the more I play here. This past August, the Tee boxes were in great shape. The rough was cut at an excellent length which was perfect for chewing up an extra 2 clubs. The greens were the best I've played here, and I always thought the greens were good. Big kudos to the ground crew, as they have done a very nice job in all their cutting.Price is excellent IMO. Pace of play can be all over the place, just depends on the day. (I don't care, I'm on the Bruce!) No marshall whenever I have played. Service has always been friendly and other than the odd poorly played round, I go home a happy camper after an enjoyable day at Northern Dunes.

Well below average course for the price. 2 stars is generous. Maintenance is really lacking you’ll never go to a dryer course then here. The fairways have slightly less grass then the rough does. It’s a challenge trying to figure out if your ball is on the fairway or rough from the tee blocks. Greens are fine but have sand on them. Luckily if your ball rolls off the green. You can putt from the rough onto the green because they are so dry. I paid $114.14 for 2 players and a cart in October. There’s better courses in the area, like Sauble beach, Southampton and Port Elgin. Day and night difference when it comes to maintenance and they are at cheaper rates! This is just a tourist trap. Ownership doesn’t seem to care about the course as long as long as they get your money. I couldn’t even get a receipt printed because they were out of paper! Don’t golf here.

The autumn leaves were spectacular and the previous rain and cooler temperatures made for open tee times and non-stop play. Smaller well-groomed greens. Friendly proshop.

Have played here occasionally for a few years. This year they seem not to be watering the fairways. It's not even July and they look like they're summer burnt already. Looks like they added sand to the bunkers and greens are good. It's a nice track....Shame about the fairways

Very nice looking course. Affordable pricing during twilight compared to the nearby competitors. Course wasn't in great shape with longer than usual fairways and divots/holes throughout the course. Not awful though. Worth it for the price.

Only played the back nine, generous fairways, greens were fast. It's flat which makes it easily walkable. Tee boxes could be better marked with readily identifiable colour blocks. Course layout on score card would be advantageous. Staff was very pleasant.

A tight course that's well maintained. Best price around for a round. Friendly staff, and a nice little menu. I go all the time

Great golf course for novice or mid/high handicappers. Greens and fairways were fairly well kept and green. Beautiful day golfing with friends.

The course is in very poor condition. Greens are covered with Dollar Spot, tee decks are poor, stones and rocks in the bunkers. Lots of better options in the area.
