Very bad experience. As a sushi lover from Toronto, I was shocked at the quality of food here. First, they charge you $1 extra for drinks which is fine, but when I asked for green tea for my family, the server brought 3 cups of warm water that tasted faintly like green tea (there were NO tea bags, NO small hot water kettle - like at all the other places I've been at in Toronto, nor has anybody asked me if I wanted more water for my tea" which can best be described as drinking "dishwater" - it was simply disgusting. We paid 80 bucks for a dinner for 3 and they couldn't be bothered. Everything else was also poor quality for the price. The smoked salmon that they used in the sushi was very salty and weird tasting

This restaurant is the very definition of the horror stories you hear about in terrible restaurant experiences. We did not receive half our food within the 3 hours of being there, so we skipped to dessert for round 2 to just leave after. The ice cream was garbage. In addition, the attitude of most the servers was atrocious. They would either roll their eyes and respond, Yup" or just run away when asked a question. We had to ask for our soy sauce dishes around 6 times

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this place. I go here with my girlfriend regularly, and we have never had a bad experience. The sushi is always great (good bite sized pieces with a solid rice to filling ratio), and the food comes quickly. In terms of service, it's very standard for any AYCE restaurant, and the wait staff are really sweet and hardworking (they're just usually very busy bringing multiple plates of food to each guest). Super reasonable price for lunch!!

Have to say wasn't crazy about this restaurant, it had a funky smell almost as if there was a water leak. Service was fantastic which is what kept me from rating two stars but food was nothing to write home about, sub par AYCE quality.

I've been here for three years and the place is getting worse and worse. Just experienced literally the worst all-you-can-eat meal here today. Food waste all over the floor. Had to ask the waitress 5 times before we got the dish for soy sauce. No water refill. Waited for 2.5 hrs and didn't get all the food we ordered. The waitress said the kitchen and bar said we've been given all the food but it wasn't even half of what we ordered, for the first order. For the food we got, the sushi rice was so much and so dense that it was hard to chew; the fish on top was so thin that it was almost transparent; tasteless miso soup; and TERRIBLE OVER-SWEETENED ICE CREAM! I mean how can you even screw up ice cream? The best part is, the final bill was miscalculated and got charged twice for tax. Not even surprised and didn't even want to argue. NOT COMING BACK AGAIN AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

I planned to bring a group of friends from out of town here since it was the only all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant in town and called ahead. However, I was greeted with a girl that couldn’t speak English and was very hostile. When we arrived for our reservation, we ordered a first round that took over an hour to get one roll and discovered that they had somehow forgotten half our order but didn’t tell us. Our second order also took over half an hour to get one roll that wasn’t even part of our order. Meanwhile, surrounding tables that arrived after us had been served multiple times and even finished their meals and left. Overall, if you value timely service and great food, I would highly discourage you from coming here.

It was a horrible experience.! All the food we ordered had zero taste and took a long time to reach our table. The waitress acted like she had pms the entire time slamming and tossing our food on the table. When we explained how we didn’t like the taste of certain items and explained we didn’t want it the waitress charged us for the food. After we ordered desert and before we even started it the waitress brought the bill to our table and excepted us to pay.! I would recommend if you want sushi in Kingston to go to Sakura or Sapporo. They are way better in both service and food

Its an all you can eat. Pricing is fair but the service is non existent and the food quality is quite low. Servers do not greet you with any words they just point to where you should go. They do not talk to you and just take your slip and walk away. You do not get all the food that you order and you can have wait times for your food close to 30 minutes even when the restaurant is not busy. Have tried many times hoping that the service would be different with no luck. Better off eating sushi else where.

While this place is definitely over priced, the quality of food is great and the atmosphere is beautiful. The food came almost as quickly as we placed the order. The reason I am giving them 3 stars instead of 5 is for 2 reasons:#1. Poor customer service, I.e. rude servers#2. A vastly overpriced all-you-can-eat menu. For $25/person we could have had steaks at the Keg with drinks...

While the pricing is fair for all you can eat, the service is hilariously bad. Server don’t return to tables unless waved down, food takes a lifetime to reach the table, and often times things are forgotten. The sushi quality is mediocre, but on the lower end of the spectrum compared to Kingston’s many other fantastic options. Save your money, don’t come here.
