Fresh Heads Farm Shop

Fantastic place to pick up fresh raw veggies, eggs, honey, raw meat, local gifts like aprons, jewelry and more! The store is a converted old school portable retaining it's original chalkboards and much of the furniture has been rescued second hand. They're related to Ontario Sustainable Agriculture if you're looking for that farm. It's in the same space! Thank you Amy and Rutherford for the wonderful tour. Our daughter had so much fun! She ended up finishing 1/4 of the bag of dinosaur kale on the way home.

What a wonderful place to purchase organic produce and especially lettuce which is grown there in their greenhouse. They have an extensive variety of delicacies from local producers as well as fish (oh so delicious was our trout) and many more exceptional items. This is without a doubt my kind of place. Amy, one of the owners introduced me to several new vegetables and this too was a delight! I thoroughly recommend this fantastic shop!

Great new local spot!! Such a great selection of greens along with loads of other vegetables and yummy items. As the cherry on top, the free tours they offer 1 day a month are the perfect way to learn more - I love that they offer these! More reasons I love it: Family owned, charming cabin shop, and rainbow trout meat to be sold in the future :D (My only comment would be that they don’t always have certain greens available, but that speaks to the local need for their offerings and not the quality bc their greens stay crisp and fresh for a long time. You’ll just have to go earlier in the day to get more options!)

Had a wonderful visit here. Customer service was great! The kids loved seeing all the antiques and the food looked very fresh! Delicious cheese and cookies! Can’t wait to come back!

More than Lettuce! Now they sell local Milk! This is an amazing place to visit with lettuce grown right there. The people are the best and the products are too. See for yourself, but allow time to look at the variety of produce and products. We had free range eggs and a salad the 1st day after our visit that were so good we went back for more and see new gr8 things every time we do.

Stumbled upon this family run farm in a Facebook group. A charming cabin in the woods with a variety of freshly grown lettuces as well as other locally sourced produce and goods. Such a dream for antique lovers as everything inside is beautifully sourced. Was told they are also farming rainbow trout and preparing to sell smoked rainbow trout in the feature! Will be excited to try that when it’s ready.

The most beautiful farm shop I’ve ever been to! I love that they support local. Their produce and other foods are incredibly fresh. Learned about the history behind the building and a little bit about aquaponics. Met “mom”, “dad”, and “sister”. Owners are so welcoming and friendly. Will be back for sure!
