Heroes Taekwondo Academy

This school is a fantastic school with amazing masters! My son is always excited to attend the class every week! Highly recommend!!

Excellent facilities and great masters. Masters are kind and patient with young children. My daughter is learning a lot and having fun.

My boys have just gotten their white belts at Heroes Teakwando Academy. Masters where both encouraging and motivational during every class we attended. Well Master Youn is instructing the class, Master Kim will walk around and adjust the kids positions or give High fives if they are doing the moves correctly. The moment the kids walk into class both Masters will greet them with their names and say something positive.My boys attended the spring camp for a week and they LOVED being there everyday. They did crafts, played games, did small teakwando classes, coloured, learned how to count in Korean and so much more.Yesterday they held a free Mother's and me class. I had such a great time! Got to do some warm up moves, learned punching and kicking combinations, and learned how to protect ourselfs from an attacker with a knife (self defense moves)Thank you Heroes Teakwando Academy, Master Youn and Master Kim for making each class fun. We love coming every week.

We are excited to do Family Taekwondo with Master Youn. Our kids have been students of hers in the past and we’ve been able to follow her to this new location. Master Youn has a great understanding and compassion for kids all with a balance of discipline and fun. Thank you for being such a great role model to our kids.Update:We’ve been doing the family taekwondo classes for a few months and we have soo much fun each time we go. We all look forward to going and love seeing other families that attend as well. I never thought in a million years I would enjoy TKD with my 6 and 8 year old and my husband as much as we do.We also appreciate that she pushes us but is still understanding and accommodating to our old bodies/bad backs and such. If you’re on the fence of either sending your kid or if you would enjoy doing Taekwondo alongside them, don’t hesitate, it is 100% worth it.Thanks Master Youn and Master Kim!

Just I walked in to the Heroes Taekwondo academy at 5111 22Ave SW, Edmonton and participated in to Free trail class and I decided to join in the regular class because academy’ master very honestly to teach their experiences, warm up exercises and great movements which is inspiring me.

Now while I have not been to the actual academy yet, I have been a student of Master Youn for a long time, and I can assure everyone that she is so amazing, so confident and so kind! I wish her good luck in her new school and with new people!

My daughter goes to Heroes Taekwondo Academy. We settled on this after trying out variousTaekwondo schools. It is undoubtedly the best. My child liked it instantly after the very first trial class with Master Youn. My daughter was initially very apprehensive of joining any Taekwondo class. But now she loves it and looks forward to it every week. Master Youn, Master Kim and Master Chen are the best. The masters are very compassionate, funny, full of energy and at the same time value and instill discipline as much. They have a certain knack of getting even a shy child to participate and make sure they are not left behind. This academy also conducts fun spring and summer camps for kids. They also have special mommy & me class for Mother's day as well as Daddy & me class for Father's day. We attended the Daddy & me class recently and it was super fun.We really appreciate all the efforts the masters are putting in. I highly recommend Heroes Taekwondo Academy.

If I could give Master's Youn and Kim 10 stars I would. My daughter joined class a few months ago and my son soon after. The connection that the students have to these instructors is beyond amazing. You can see the admiration on both sides. From the moment a student walks through the door they are greeted by name and talked to in a positive and inviting manner. Once class begins the level of energy, intensity and fun are all 10's. Every child is engaged to do their best and the class brings out the best in everyone. All of this occurs in a very fun feeling atmosphere with constant laughs being had. The support, commitment and wellbeing Master's Youn and Kim offer to their students leave us so appreciative of what they bring to the community. Thank you!!
