Derrick at Red wheel construction started out great. I was very happy with his quote and his professionalism. However, after starting the job he added almost $500 to the quote. I hired him to install interior prehung doors several of which were double doors. He was made aware of this fact at the walk-through but changed his quote because he told me there were five extra doors. The number of door openings didn’t change and he was aware that five of the doors were double doors at the time of the quote. The fit of the doors was very well done but the finish and painting of the casing was done poorly at best! Pencil marks, poor fit, sanded areas, visible nail holes everywhere, areas that he forgot to use caulking and areas that were never painted are everywhere. I would not use Derrick for anything again as in my opinion he is neither professional nor honest! The pictures below show his finished product. By the way, he wasn’t cheap either!

Red Wheel built a fairly elaborate sun deck for me in Windrose sub-division in Leduc. Very pleased with their work. They were prompt and did quality construction at a fair and reasonable price. Good communication throughout the process. Del Sveinsson
