I take lessons in fingerstyle guitar, and thus far, it's been great.The service and sales team are great as well .Finding a competent fingerstyle instructor is a challenge. They have two!

I like their online order service, pickup in store. It’s easy and they have the best pricing on accessories and stuff like that which would cost a lot more if ordered online from other retailers. I usually get my parts and such from L&M, especially when I need quality branded stuff.

I rented a ukulele to play at my grandmas grave. Despite being a grown woman with wrinkles and grey hair who owns my own home and has valid ID and cc…I needed to put my Aunty’s phone number down in order to be given permission to rent. My family and I all had a good laugh at how ridiculous it was that I could buy a plane ticket, rent a car and a hotel room on my own costing thousands but in order to rent a $140 ukulele for $13 I needed to provide my Aunty’s info.I’ve never had any issues at my local L&M, this was a super strange experience.
