I've been seeing Dr. Matiu since she opened her doors and can honestly say she's the best dentist I've ever been to. She takes the time to explain what she's doing and is always gentle and never rushed. Her hygienists are also very thorough - every time I get my teeth cleaned I always get comments on how white they look!

I have been going here for cleanings for the past few years and have been extremely happy with the professionalism, friendliness of the staff and quality of their work. I recently had Dr. Matiu correct bonding to my front teeth and I am so happy with the results! She made me feel at ease during the procedure, was extremely gentle and the quality of her work is top notch. I would recommend this clinic to any and everyone!

I am very nervous when I go to the dentist but not with any dentist here . They are by far the most professional and highest quality dentists in the city of Toronto . I will never go elsewhere . They take the time and care to make sure you are comfortable throughout any procedure . I am usually very nervous when I arrive but they work fast and efficiently, and do the best job . Very friendly staff, and always attentive to your comfort level throughout the entire procedure . Thank you to all th staff for making every experience a very comfortable one . Highly recommended , actually I would say do not bother going anywhere else .. this clinic has it all .

During the last 20 years I lived in 5 neighborhoods in and around Toronto and every time I had a different dentist, chosen based on the proximity to my house. In 2013 I moved close to Bloor West Village and I looked for a local dentist. At a friend's recommendation, I chose Bloor West Village Dental Care. Now I am sure that even if I move again, I will not change the dentist. Dr. Ileana Matiu has all the professionalism and competence that I was looking for in a dentist. At my first appointment I was somewhat circumspect, as I have a fairly complicated dental situation: a few implants, a bridge and receding gums. Dr. Matiu carefully evaluated the details and the big picture and decided to focus on preserving my gums as long as possible. She was reassuring and warm, and in the same time confident and in control. We discussed a strategy about how to proceed further. In subsequent appointments, I had follow-ups and dental cleaning sessions. The staff is also very professional and pleasant, and at every appointment my impression about the quality of the dental care was reenforced. I strongly recommend Dr. Matiu and her staff. The quality of the dental care that they provide is second to none.

I am a patient of Dr. Ileana Matiu for 1 year and am very impressed by the excellent care that I received at her office, both for cavities treatment and for cleaning. Dr. Matiu clearly explained what needs to be done for each cavity and did an excellent and totally painless job for each affected tooth. The hygienist also had a very light hand, compared with my experience at my former dentist. I highly recommend Dr.Matiu.

In just one teeth whitening session, I walked out of there with a new smile and a great new confidence!The clinic itself is modern, immaculate, and only made better by the great service from every member of the staff I interacted with, including Dr. Matiu. She was keenly aware of my sensitivity to pain and constantly checked in on me to make sure I was comfortable.If you are anywhere in Toronto, this is where to go if you are looking for top-notch service. The clinic is two minutes away from Jane station so it is very easy to get to with the TTC.

The service at Bloor West Village Dental Care is by far, the best dental care that I have ever received. It starts with the friendly welcome at the reception and continues with the gentle and expert treatment by Dr.Matiu and the rest of the staff. During every treatment, whether it's a standard cleaning or a root canal, the patient is 'walked through' the procedure so that there are never any surprises. Dr. Matiu, is the most competent, caring, professional dentist I have ever encountered. The whole team at Bloor West Village Dental Care is outstanding!I used to be terrified of going to the dentist, but am no longer!!

I am taking my 82 yr old father here for complications with his teeth, including bridges and implants, least of all stains. Dr. Matiu is so incredibly patient and considerate, gentle and calming, my father absolutely adores her! He cannot say enough about how highly he regards her attention to detail and professionalism. I myself cannot believe the miracle she performed in cleaning his teeth to a whiteness I wouldn't have thought possible. I am considering changing dentists, she is that good.
