Cool place, food was really good, I had the omelet and it was delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely go again.

As someone who grew up going to traditional diners in Pennsylvania and New York, I really like the decor. The bottomless hash browns is unheard of and I got two pieces of gluten-free toast instead of the measly one piece that most restaurants are giving nowadays. This is a good place to take the fam as well. Just be patient, the servers are young and sometimes inexperience with customer service.

Enjoyed the food and service here! Super friendly staff and food was yummy too. The interior is absolutely beautiful, retro diner feel the moment you walk in! Will be visiting again soon.Got the Calgary's choice omelette, Montreal Smoked Meat Hash, and a single waffle. Good portions and gotta live the bottomless hash.

Very Friendly Staff and our food was excellent. Ordered up the Calgary Omelet and loaded it up and it was excellent, cooked perfectly and one of the best omelets i have ever had. My wife kept hers simple and it too was fantastic. We were served promptly and coffees were topped up. The staff care and it shows in the cleanliness, friendly service and great food. We will be back!!!

I update my previous review because of the unpleasant and unexpected experience I had this morning. While I was still working on my plate, the staff brought us the bill following with the machine to pay for the meal; they rushed us to leave while we were eating because there was a line up. We were there only for 35 minutes that this happened. I have been a frequent customer of Belmont Dinner for the last 6 years and this was a shocking experience to me. I always do care about other customers and stay mindful of my time in a restaurant, yet I believe this was not a proper customer service to tell us leave after 35 minutes.This place offers one of the best brunches in Calgary. You will get quality foods, fresh coffee, and great services here.

What an amazing little spot. The service was super friendly and the food was outstanding. The room itself is obviously a bit of a time portal, but all the little details - down to the retro toasters and the open kitchen layout make it feel beyond authentic. A new Sunday tradition for sure!

This place has amazing food, the staff is so friendly and I love the theming and aesthetic of the diner. It is definitely my favourite place to go for breakfast foods. The last time I was there though, I felt bad for the servers, they should have had at least one more server on staff. They were non stop running around, taking orders, making drinks, cleaning tables, seating guests and they did an amazing job, we never had to wait for anything, I just felt bad they seemed stressed and seating new tables was struggling as they couldn't clear tables fast enough. This place is definitely great and I will continue to go, I just hope they take care of their staff.

Finally had a free morning to take my family for brunch here.Walking in, the center bar takes up a lot of space. However, it still feels very spacious. We love the classic diner atmosphere with a modern brightness.I ordered the Chicken Clubhouse Sandwich with Hashbrowns while my wife chose the Belmont French Toast. The little one had the Kids Pancakes.First off, per our request, the Kids Pancakes came first so our little one can get started. For $2.95, it was a lot of pancakes! Such a great deal! I could be full on those pancakes. Moreover, they were fluffy and delicious pancakes! Can't call yourself a diner if your pancakes suck. Belmont passed with flying colors.My Chicken Clubhouse Sandwich was sizeable and delicious. I do wish that there were more bacon, but I always want more bacon. The Hashbrowns were crispy and tender depending on which bite you take.My wife loved her French toast. She said that she enoiyed them and would order again.Belmont Diner is going to be our favorite go-to place for brunch!

Absolutely love coming here (and the Marda loop location). The Montreal smoked meat Bennie is so delicious. The service is always fast and friendly. Even for those who are scared of carbs, you can get the hash browns subbed out for tomatoes. I will continue to eat here for many years as the food is always great. This is the best “diner” in both food and decor and is always consistently good.

Went around noon on a Sunday and didn't have to wait too long for a table. The atmosphere is great, open view kitchen if you're sitting close enough to see. Food seems a little pricey but honestly, their serving size was great so it's definitely worth it. All was good with the food except my eggs Benny was supposed to still be a runny yolk and they weren't, still was good but part of the enjoyment for me with Benny's is the yolk oozing all over it when you cut into it.Service is where it took it from 5 stars to 4 stars. They aren't bad but I had to wait for my coffee refill for a bit and the waitress only came back just after the food was dropped off to see how everything looked"
