One cashier open at 8 pm with a very slow clerk. I waited 10 minutes to purchase 3 itemsMy complaint is we are spending a lot more money on groceries now a days and we are being manipulated to use the self check outs verse wait in line to protest the self check out push

Surprisingly low prices , they didn't seem to jack their prices like the other guy , that's right only 2 guys own all the grocery stores on the island..fun fact , they really should do more for their communities

Team here are great and they get a 5 star rating. Thrifty as a corp get a 3. Would have been a 5, but their prices are just getting ridiculously high.

Great staff, the butchers willingly cut up the meat to fit my needs, the bakery department happily slices the sourdough bread for me and the tellers are always pleasant. It is a great place to shop.

Their monster cookies are one of my son's favourites. We tried one of their meat pies for the first time. I thoroughly enjoyed it but my son thought it was 'okay'. He's a fan of turkey or chicken meat pies. Unfortunately they didn't have any of those. We discovered their chipotle mustard... excellent!!

Good quality and selection of products.Friendly and helpful staff.But..it’s a fairly small floor space and the only grocery store close to the downtown area, serving a large population of downtown residents, travellers, and smaller island residents so it can be very busy at times although they have now I stalled a large bank of “self-checkout” machines to take the pressure off of the limited number of cashiers.

Little pricey and also don’t have many cashiers on during the after work rush. But location is clean and the staff is friendlyEdit: it’s now Feb 2023 and I just had the most wonderful experience in the deli. The lady working took extra time to ask me if I liked olives, and when I said no she proceeded to avoid them as she served my Greek salad. 10/10.

Love Thrifty Foods! They have better quality produce, meaning they buy a better grade than the other big box food stores.Fantastic bakery, meat department and deli....Also what I love is they give back into the community they are in.Support your local Thrifty Foods....Oh and they have a lovely floral department as well.Plenty of parking, home delivery, store pick up and will carry your groceries out to the car for you.
