Chartwell Oak Ridges Retirement Residence

I want to take the opportunity to say thank you to everyone that assisted with my dad's 3-week recovery stay.We are so pleased we were able to find a place so close to my sister and me; we could pop in and see him anytime. From the initial meeting with Patti, everything was seamless. The nurses were great with my dad; they were indeed a delight.

Rohullah, our maintenance person, came in my suite number 412 to fix the air conditioner, replace a lightbulb and cleaned the kitchen drain. It was a bit sluggish. He was absolutely amazing , very friendly and I found him very competent. He’s the best.Denise, serving manager in the dining room, is also a very very competent person. She’s quick at what she does and never complains. She is a very good worker.

My mother in Law, Shirley lives here. During our last visit I was super impressed by the Denise in the dining room and Gila at the front desk. Denise gave us great service like we were in a fine restaurant and Gila was engaging and gracious when we arrived. Well done chartwell team!

My mom has been at Chartwell Oak Ridges for many years and through all the ups and downs of the past years the Concierge team and Chartwell PSW Stella in particular have been outstanding. Stella is respectful , considerate and dedicated.

Had dinner with my mom who moved there recently. It was lovely. The staff are great. Denise was an awesome food server. So happy my mom decided to live there. The place is very bright and inviting.

Hi Nicole,As you well know, I have been playing and singing at Chartwell Oak Ridges Retirement Residence for the last 7 years. I wanted to say what a pleasure it has been working with you over these many years. It continues to be one of my favourite places to entertain. The room is very inviting and the response always very complimentary. I have also always enjoying playing on the memory floor and love seeing the older music lighten up a face. It is easy to see when a song has sparked a memory and transport them back to that precious time. After a great visit with my mum, again I have to thank the staff for their excellent care. Mum really enjoys the exercise classes with Katie while Jila, Michele and Wendy are so welcoming and friendly at the concierge desk. I so enjoyed the meals provided by Rufo, Mary, Aaron and Scott. Denise is so caring for all the residents in the dining room and beyond. Thanks again to Marvin for his thoughtfulness also Dora, Saleha and Alfonse. Such great servers!! Shout out to Sarmela and Shania also. Thanks again for all your hard work and love for my mum and others!

A big shout out to Alfonzo and Denise from the dining room who have been providing my parents with great service and always bring big smiles that brighten everyone's day.A big mention to Jila, who has been there for my parents whenever there is an issue. My father moved in less than a year ago. I've had some time to reflect and see his interaction and adjustment. From the get go, Linda went above and beyond to make my dad's adjustment so pleasant. Michele, the concierge and everything else she does is top notch. Denise, equally professional and such a ray of sunshine in the dining room. I'm also grateful to the nursing staff and everyone else involved in the care of my dad. Often, they've gone above what's expected and I've never had to ask for anything twice. This is especially meaningful to me as I'm not local. Thank you to all!

Meals times are so important to me.
