Brookside Court Retirement Community by Spring Living

When my mother needed a secure living facility Brookside Court was our 1st choice. When our mother arrived she was greeted warmly by all the staff. That warmth, caring and understanding continued for the 13 months that she lived at Brookside Court. It was a wonderful experience for both my mother and our family. Every need that mom had, everything that she wanted and everything we wanted for her was always immediately attended to. Each member of the staff went out of their way to please both our mother and our family members.Even in the difficult times of covid-19 lockdown, the staff and management were always smiling and happy as they went about their daily work.When our mother needed a new facility to meet her changing needs she missed everyone at Brookside Court so much. I had the pleasure to tour through both Hilltop Place and Brookside Court looking for my step-mother earlier this year. The staff were amazing and super-welcoming to me and my step-mom! The homes themselves are beautiful! We were even able to speak to the Executive Director, Parry, on our tour who greeted us by name. Unfortunately, my step mom's care needs changed drastically before we had a chance to move in, but I still wanted to come on here and thank the staff for their time and amazing customer service. - Nick

My mother-in-law needed to make a very last minute move to a facility that offered additional services that weren't available at the assisted living facility she was in prior to entering the hospital. Kristen was compassionate, helpful and very quick to respond to my many questions, emails and phone calls. She was able to give our family a virtual tour of the space, since we're all a bit of a distance away, have my mother-in-law assessed in the hospital, prep her new room and get her moved in within 10 days of my initial call. She even helped me find an amazing moving company! While my family was unpacking her things in the bright, clean, newly-renovated room, the staff was quick to introduce themselves and ask questions about their new resident - already trying to get to know her before she had even arrived. My entire family has commented on how welcome they felt, how confident they are in the care she's now receiving and the warmth of the staff and the facility overall. Thank you to the Brookside team for making a difficult transition much easier. My mother-in-law is now receiving quality dementia and day-to-day care. It's never easy to watch your loved ones suffer with dementia and its side-effects but Brookside has helped to bring us a bit of peace and comfort, knowing she's receiving the attention she deserves.

The parking lot got plowed really well

Our father spent the last two months of his life at Revera Brookside Court and we could not have wished for a better place. The setting is comfortable and homey, not institutional. The meals are cooked on-site and are not the usual microwaved dishes served in similar places. The food is fresh and tasty. But the real stars are the staff; they are professional, kind, caring, patient - just wonderful. They know each resident personally and treat them with respect and dignity. They also treat the families of the residents tremendously well, and are willing to listen to and answer questions. I have worked in a nursing home, and my mother spent 16 years in a long term care facility, and I can attest that the staff at Revera Brookside are superb. In a difficult time they were tremendous. We will miss our father, but we know he had the best care possible at Revera Brookside Court.

Staff lies! Their involvement in families is disgraceful. Don't bring your loved ones here. Brookside does not protect your loved ones!
