We have visited this store many times since our dog was a puppy. She loves to play with the two resident dogs. They are extremely playful & gentle with her. The proprietors are very knowledgeable about every aspect of raising dogs. They have been immensely helpful whether our question has been about nutrition, exercise or behaviour. It’s very important for local, independently owned businesses like this to be successful & thrive because they can provide the service & advice that is not available from chain stores.All the best to Thor’s Healthy Pet Foods!

I have recently moved to Ridgeway and will be shopping here for my pets needs. These people are very knowledgeable and sell ONLY healthy foods unlike grocery and chain pet stores. Interacting with their family pets makes shopping here more exciting. If I ever have a question about anything to do with my pets I feel I'll get an honest answer.

Bobby always goes above and beyond to answer our questions regarding pet food/health. He is extremely knowledgeable in the pet food diet and can make suggestions based on your particular needs. You know this is the kind of guy who loves what he does.Thank you for all your help. We will be back!Highly recommended!To the lady who posted about the greeting she received...we have been in several times and greeted with nothing but boisterous play! My puppy and his sibling were just fine! Was nice to see that they enjoy being at work and ambassadors for the store! ❤️

I will NEVER return to this store. I have never written a review online before but feel I must warn other pet owners. I decided to try this store for food as I live nearby and wanted to support a local shop. I brought my 7 month old Wheaten puppy to the store. There was a a big sign on the door “pet-friendly store”.I barely had the door 1/4 of the way open and a a large German Sheppard and another large dog came barreling out of the store and chased my puppy nipping and biting at him. The owner had to run out and grab them before they hurt my dog.His excuse was “sorry. They are not very good at introducing themselves.” It is complete unacceptable to have dogs loose In a pet store that invites owners in with their own pets and have 2 large and in my opinion aggressive dogs with no one watching them, ready to pounce.Needless to say, I left immediately and will NEVER go back. There are plenty of places that get healthy dog food.

Amazing, detail-oriented service. It was my first time entering the store and the owner went through all the dog food with me to find the right fit for my doodle. The store dogs were docile and friendly. A great local store to support!

So kind, friendly and informative! I was having trouble with my extreme picky princess eating. Brittany was so... informative, listened and helped me choose the right food for my girl. Got home tried it out and she inhaled it!! Never before has she done this. I enthusiastically, highly recommend this shop. Extra thank you to Brittany for being so kind and helpful, it was a pleasure talking to her today!!

AMAZING! They were really helpful when I was struggling with my dogs food issues.. Great selection of quality food for your four legged kids! And just loved coming in and snuggling their four legged kids in the store.. definitely got my dose of loving!!! I highly recommend them!!

Thor's is a local and family owned pet store with great products, price and advice. You are always met with the friendliest animals which is always a bonus. Asides from the high quality food, I have been able to purchase colodial silver that has saved me numerous Vet visits for my Goldens summer hot spots.

Not educated. Pretend to be medically/nutritionally educated but, they really have no clue. Save your pet and your brain the hassle. These people are clueless.Response to owner:Not sure what your talking about in your response as I do not sell pet food and if I did it wouldn't be steamed rice and vegetables. Making senior citizens feel ashamed of their pet care due to recommended veterinary medications and food instructions is far from professional and far from your expertise as you are not a DVM. Maybe next time you get a certificate in the mail, you can work on your customer service!
