Oh! the John Avant Park lake has so much serene beauty, that l can't forget. The lake is so beautiful, spick and span, very well maintained. The presence of large number of dragonflies indicates that there is enough moisture in the air to generate soothing negative ions in the air. Moreover, the fountain is generating abundance of negative ions in the air. As we know that positive ions in the air are bad, non soothing for us. The presence of Canada GEESE in the lake is quite soothing for all, particularly me as l love these birds very much.

A wonderful lake for residents who live around that area.Ducks and geese around the lake, some birds singing, very natural spot.The view is also great! You shall take a ride come and visit, extremely good photography!Autumn is best season, somehow during winter, snow view also impressive.I am coming back every year to seat myself into this peaceful situation and nature atmosphere.By the way, you are allow kayaks here!

This park was along one my bicycle routes. There is a seating area where you can rest, relax and and enjoy the view. There is always duck floating swimming across the lake. Great place to vist if it's within walking or riding distance.

I visited this park in winter on nice warm and pleasant morning. It has couple of good size ice hockey rink. I bet this place will be beautiful in spring and summer when there is water in lake

The Park is such a wonderful and beautiful place to be especially in summer. You can follow the trail to go round the lake. There are seats arranged in strategic places for relaxation as you go round. The lake is also available to families who want to have a boat ride.Information concerning the Park lake is also placed at strategic places. The lawns around it are well maintained. The environment is also surrounded with beautiful flowers and trees giving shades. The lake is very suitable for picnics and play grounds.
