Nix Snow

Terrible job this year. 2pm and still waiting for my driveway to be plowed. Even when they do come, often need to call them to come back to fix or finish the semi-completed job. Save your money, hire someone else privately.

After 4 years of using these guys it will be our last for many reasons (read other bad/most recent reviews)Made the mistake of paying for the salt service this year, only to never have our driveway salted. After accumulated over an inch of ice we finally contacted them complaining, we were told they would send somebody out to salt it… 20 hours later still no one. Contacted them again, was told again someone would come salt it. No one ever came. Been over a week and still no salt service. Every single year they get worse with their customer service as well as the service they provide

Just wanted to give a huge shout out for Jack MacIntosh the NIXSNOW franchisee for Wilmot Township & Tavistock. His service, timeliness and attention to detail is excellent. He handled our 32 unit condo complex in Baden with ease, his timeliness was better than we’ve ever received. I would recommend Jack if Nixsnow to anyone looking for snow removal for 2023/24

I had some issues this year however I feel they have taken care of the issue and have made me happy with dealing with my concerns

First year client on a full season package. We had snow yesterday - over 5 cm when it first came down and no one showed up to remove the snow from our driveway. Emailed this morning and the prompt response said that they would send someone to take a look but The snow should melt."I don't know if anyone came by

I will never recommend Nix service to any one. Rather buy a snow blower. Since morning it's snowing and no one showed up and telling me that we will come at midnight.

Done using them. I have cleared more snow than they have. Waiting until midnight to plow a driveway with cars parked in it is a ridiculous idea. When there wasn't cars in thr driveway they did one strip down the middle, not even all the way up the driveway. Left 2.5 ft on either side, and didn't show up for a follow up" clean. Honestly who plows a driveway with cars in it. Someone who is half doing the job."

My elderly mom has been a customer for the last 2 years. We choose this service to keep her safe from falls or slips trying to do it on her own. The Nix service has progressively been going downhill. Communication is the worst part. I just found out she went out to shovel her own driveway today because she didn’t know if Nix was going to show up. She emailed first thing this morning because there was overnight snowfall and no proactive communication from Nix. When she didn’t get a response hours later she went out at 1pm to shovel it herself. Time to reevaluate this service. It’s not delivering as expected.

NIX has provided excellent service and communications. This is a company that highly values their own integrity as well as reliability, and that has been refreshing. I highly recommend them.
