I don't know where to start. First off, it took them months and months to get their tanning beds installed and they are constantly SLAMMED it seems. Benches are almost always occupied by people just talking. Always a wait for almost every machine. The equipment is newer but poorly maintained. Rips and exposed foam making it impossible to wipe sweat off them. The roof has leaks in it and they simply just put a bucket down to catch the water. Now I overlooked all these things. But here's what made me cancel:I racked up a balance because they had the wrong card number on file. One day i get a call from some guy from Crunch with an offer. He said if I sign a new contract they would forgive my debt and give me 2 months free so I figured why not.As soon as these idiots had my banking info, they tried taking over $500 from my account over 3 different attempts. I only owed them about $220 to begin with. I spoke with the manager, Mckenzie each time this happened and each time she assured me it wouldn't happen again. Finally, today they let me cancel over the phone with no fees.AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.Check out Fitness Forum

First off, let me start by saying the staff are ALWAYS friendly and helpful and always greet you with a smile! They are probably the reason my husband and I haven't cancelled our membership...they do such a great job with what they have. But it's a great membership price with clean and quality tanning beds available. The equipment - a lot of machines are broken and have been for a while and the padding is all torn up. People have complained and nothing has been. They have a sauna that's been at a standstill for construction for years now...not sure if that will ever get done.I heard other Crunch locations in London are better cared for, but if you go into your membership with the expectation of 'you get what you paid for' then it's not bad.

When I first signed up, it was a great atmosphere and equipment was great. But now they have Equipment breaking daily and never repaired. During this winter they had the heat breakdown and took over a week to repair. Some mornings the thermostat read 12. Toilet clogged for a whole week with piles of s**t overflowing. This place is gross and should completely shut down. Sauna has been roughed in for years and no sign of ever finishing. STAY AWAY. Other gyms are worth the extra money.

I’d say you get what you pay for, but honestly that’s not even true for this place. A nice portion of the machines are torn; other reviews corroborate this. The glute press wire has been torn for at least 3 weeks, and nobody at Crunch has decided that it might be necessary to take 5 seconds out of their day to put a sign up saying on it Out Of Order. The floors are constantly dirty and it’s way too overcrowded at peak; the last day I went there was a good 15 kids standing near the weights not doing anything but talking. I felt embarrassed to bring my wife here with me. I cancelled my membership a few days ago and applied to Fit4Less. They’re more expensive but at least that gym is properly maintained.

Lots of equipment has torn padding that is never fixed. It's unsanitary because you can't clean the foam and the foam gets wet from other people's sweat. It's not hard to fix padding like most gyms do!

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful; the atmosphere is definitely a comfortable environment for me to get in the zone to chase after my fitness goals! I think one of my favourite parts is being able to bring a guest not only because I get to workout with a friend but also become apart of helping create a healthy active community!!Thank you crunch!!!

This is between a 3.5 and 4 star gym. Depends what you are looking for that meets you needs. Pros - lots of machines and cardio with excellent variety. Price can’t be beat especially if you join on a $99 a year Black Friday or Canada Day promo (excellent value with no gym maintenance fee). Cons - slow response to maintenance issues, took forever to install tanning beds and the sauna has been roughed in but no progress. Very busy during peak hours. As I’m on the $99 promo and only use this gym during non-peak times generally on the weekends, it fits my needs. Agreed that the barbells are cheap with no knurling and benches are slippery. As a former power lifter and gym goer for over 30 years, I do my big lifting in my home gym where I have a access to better bars and chalk. For the average gym goer this gym is fine. But if you’re looking for more specialization and a less crowded gym during peak times you may be advised to look elsewhere but you’ll likely be paying more.

DO NOT PAY A YEAR IN ADVANCE AT THIS CLUB!UPDATE JULY 3: New owners have purchased the club. There have been many improvements and if it continues I will remove this review. This club was nice when it opened but it is a mess now. It is showing the signs of a club in financial trouble. The original franchise owner left soon after Covid started and I think it is corporate run now and perhaps they are not willing to invest in it.Signs of financial trouble:1. They don't get the paper towel and soap dispensers replaced. I know from experience that you can get these for free from the manufacturers as long as you put their product in them. They are buying liquid soap likely from the dollar store and at times mixing water with the soap.2. Many clubs lease their equipment with a maintenance package. The equipment is not being repaired which may indicate they are not current with their lease payments. If they own the equipment, are they unwilling or unable to get it repaired?3. Many of the equipment pieces have ripped upholstery and are not being fixed. This may be a sign they can't afford the repairs.4. The shower curtains in the men's side are disgusting and probably the original ones.5. The men's locker room is in need of repairs which are not being done.6. The painting of the wall was never finished up by the front desk.7. One of the hand dryers in the men's locker room has been broken for months.Hopefully they get a new franchise owner with deep pockets soon who will be wiling to make the necessary investments.

It’s a great place to work out! Been going for a month now and enjoying it! Staff are always friendly and willing to help you when they can! Definitely recommend it to anyone just starting out or been working out for a while. Main downside of this gym is things are constantly broken and needing repair. Be nice if that would get addressed and taken care of.
