Embark Dog Adventures

Our dog Bentley loves his weekly hikes with Embark Dog Adventures! He is always super excited when he gets picked up and exhausted when he gets home.

Embark Dog Adventures is the best dog hiking company! My dog, Boots, has been going on these hikes for a few years now.Katie (the owner) is very professional, and I always know my dog is in good hands and will come back happy and tired. I think Boots loves her more than me! Lol.

We love Embark Dog Adventures! After our beloved dog was traumatized by a bad dog encounter, he became reactive around other dogs; this went on for months and was really stressful for all of us. We hired trainers, read books and nothing worked--until we found Katie. Cesar Millan (the Dog Whisperer) talks about how being part of a pack is essential for a dog's mental health and how hard that is to achieve when most people have one overindulged dog (like us), but hiking with Katie and the other dogs transformed him. He's so excited to go with her and he comes back happy and exhausted (yay!). It took a little time but we can now take him to dog parks and off leash areas. He's more confident and happy day-to-day and so are we! Can not recommend her enough! Well worth the $.

If only I could give Embark more than 5 stars! My pup has been hiking with Katie on a weekly basis for the past 2 years, and I couldn't be happier with her services, she is fantastic! She will go above and beyond to make sure my dog is thoroughly exercised and loved. It's very clear she is an animal lover. My pup gets so excited whenever he sees her, and any time I even speak her name, so I know he is in the best hands. My dog is a rescue and is very anxious around other dogs, but Katie always ensures he is safe, and has managed to train him to be very sociable on off-leash hikes with several dogs of all sizes. Katie also takes excellent photos of the pups during outings, which is an added bonus! Katie is exceptional. I will continue to use Embark for as long as their services are offered. I highly recommend Embark Dog Adventures!

Our family absolutely loves Embark Dog Adventures. Our dog Taco LOVES his hikes. His recall is perfection since joining the pack and he has really come out of his shell and has learned to be less timid/more assertive in the positive pack environment.I love watching Taco having a blast with all of his hiking friends on Instagram Stories during his hikes. Booking is super easy with the online booking system and they are incredibly responsive when you contact them.Bonus: every time we want Taco to look at the camera, all we have to say is Katie" and he will be looking at us wide-eyed and smiling :o)I highly recommend this amazing service!"

I have 2 dogs who have been going on hikes with Embark Dog Adventures for a few years now, and we've always been able to trust our dogs are having a blast, getting exercise, and are safe under the care of Katie. With her pick up and drop off service, it's so convenient when we are out at work, and our dogs are always excited when Katie comes to pick them up! Would always recommend for a great way to get your dog the exercise they love!

Incredibly knowledgeable and professional. The dogs get plenty of exercise and are in the absolute best care. There is honestly no one I would trust more with my dogs. I highly recommend!!

Katie is an amazing individual who truly loves animals. She is professional, knowledgable, and a total dog whisperer! My two dogs absolutely love her.
