Always very friendly and helpful! The times I've gone in, I wasn't always sure what cuts I was looking for, but they're always happy to steer me in the right direction. And of course the product is excellent.

They ran out of cabbage rolls around Christmas. They should know the neighbourhood their in and know that there are a lot of Mennonites that LOVE their cabbage rolls to add to their Christmas feast. Not very well organized

It is hard to know what this store has become. I was in 2 times in the past 2 months. There are boxes everywhere of dry goods. BU there is no meat anywhere in the display areas or the back area.Many people scurrying about with the piles of boxes everywhere.

Awesome friendly service and our order was wrapped very carefully. The food was amazing in both taste and presentation. Also, the lady helped us load the order into our car. A+ business! Would definitely recommend!

My family have been life long customers of Public Meats. We have enjoyed the service, quality, and reasonable pricing for +++years. Unfortunately, new owners took over about 5 years ago and everything has gone downhill. While trying to be optimistic and still using their services from time to time - including this Xmas - we are terribly disappointed. The meat we ordered was not butchered properly and they forgot about our order twice. This will be the last attempt at supporting this business as the meat is simply not up to par. I would avoid this butcher if you can.

Went in and seen several meat packs advertised for $189 when i asked the person working he immediately stated another price of $229 and when i told him that he is advertising it for $189 and did qrgue that he cannot change the advertised price he proceeded to go to the back of the counter where he got up on a stool removed the sign for $189 and proceed to put up a totally different price as seen in the pictures

I would not recommend public meats too my friends,my family or co-workers We recently purchased a mini bq pack from public meats absolutely uneceptable processed hamburger patties, a box of chicken bones, a box of steak thickness of a pork chop terrible cut, thin ribs have basically no meat on them another terrible cut, My mom is a older lady I feel she was taking advantage of bye the employee, I would have never purchased there terrible bq pack, I just want everyone to know the experience that we have had with pubic meats so you don't get taken advantage off and ruin you bq season and waste your money.Best Regards;

Every time I go in, the staff are cleaning shelves, filling/emptying boxes and doing whatever and when I come in they go straight to the meat counter and grab the meat. I asked to have the meat cut, and even though she grabbed a sheet of paper to pick it up, then I saw the girl handling it with her bare hands as the butcher cut it. Disgusting!!! WHY CAN THEY NOT WASH THEIR HANDS OR USE DISPOSABLE GLOVES WHEN SEVERING CUSTOMERS. I used to go in several times a month but I will not be back. I will try the butcher on Springfield Rd.
