Our server - Courtney, was an absolute charm. Her service was attentive, friendly, fast and informed. She answered all our menu questions and made excellent recommendations.Tempura Sheimp was 1 of the best we've had in a long time, the miso soup was very tasty and nice generous portion, the Envy and ?? rolls were absolutely fantastic. Finishing our meal with the deep-fried cheesecake was perfect...only CON was the portion size, it was tiny but delicious

It’s hit and miss with Kona. Most times the sushi is good, but the salmon sometimes is not the freshest (smell and taste).Going in, it’s a very small restaurant, so keep that in mind for a busy day.To order the all you can eat you use two pieces of paper plus the menu, which can be confusing, and no pictures.Some variety, but half the menu was fried tempura, but that’s probably because they’re a small restaurant.I’ve ordered delivery quite a few times from this place and have always been satisfied. Do I recommend? Yes, 4.5 stars for sure!For Kona specifically, I prefer ordering delivery than eating in.

We had amazing customer service, our server was a lovely lady. However, the food was not up to par for all you can eat. The sushi rolls were poorly rolled, the rice was practically falling apart and it does not seem like traditional sticky rice was used. That has never happened to me in a sushi restaurant before. Although the restaurant and server was up to the par, the food was not. Their speciality rolls and traditional rolls were meh in taste at best. However, they do come in big portions. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this place at all if you enjoy your traditional sushi. Go somewhere else.

Never had a bad experience with this spot to date and have ordered more than 5 times already. Before coming to Canada I always had the misconception that sushi used raw uncooked meat, (clearly I was wrong). That is certainly not the case, although for me i prefer my food cooked so I am always trying the rolls where the meat is cooked. Every single one I have tried was outstanding and mouth watering. From the sweet potato rolls, Phillycheese stakes rolls, barbecue chicken rolls etc I can’t find a fault. I would certainly recommend this spot to anyone willing to try sushi cooked or uncooked. And I have tried other spots before settling with this one, they didn’t compare.

My husband and I have never been big fans of sushi, but we decided to give Kona a try a few weeks ago. Since then, we have been back every weekend. This cute little restaurant is located in Walkerville, and it has a lot of character. There sushi is very good, and Kona provides fun fusion options for those who are not purists. My husband and I are thrilled that they will accommodate our gluten-free, onion-free dietary needs. Pat comes out every time to make sure everything was good. Whether we order from the regular menu or all-you-can-eat, the food is always delicious.A word of caution: the bathroom is not easily accessible, as you need to go down to the basement, so those customers with mobility issues may want to get take-out instead of dining in.

If you're in Windsor and looking for a place to eat lunch or dinner, I recommend that you go here. I went here the other night with a group of friends and had the best experience. The food was amazing, and there were a variety of sushi that you can order. The atmosphere of the place is good and the staff are really nice and welcoming!

Kona is the best quality sushi in Windsor-Essex! Plenty of variety of appetizers and rolls to chose from. It was hard to take photos because it was gone so quickly - delicious! Dine in service is quiet, charming and speedy. Would definitely recommend for a date night out!
