A beautiful, well kept theater that is truly a little gem in downtown Toronto with rooms being just big enough to where it isn't crowded but small enough to give a more personal connection with the audience, great air conditioning and clean facilities. Would absolutely love to go again.

This theater is really nice, well built, spacious and clean. I have attended yesterday an event by Kevin O’Leary and it was amazing. Very impressed by the quality of this facility. Highly recommended to visit or attend an event here.

Very nice theatre. It's small, so you feel a much better connection to artist when they are literally right in front of you. It's inside the convention center so it was hard to tell how to get in, especially when an expo is going on.

I had an amazing theatrical experience at John Bassett Theatre. The sounds, lights and seats were top notch. The staff was friendly except when the show ended they were asking to leave immediately. The location is awesome in Downtown Toronto. You can get some green parking nearby or at the convention centre as well. Overall a pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend.

Went to see a comedy show.Clean, good spot, but, not a bar or concession in sight. Too bad heading out to a comedy show and unable to have a drink. Toilets are sparse in location as well.

I'd never been to this theatre before... But it had seating for roughly 500-1000 people, and they were comfortable, , add to this, the lighting for the event was more than adequate..

Seating is well done and has some legroom. Also the venue is small enough for you to see the performers without resorting to TV screens.
