Fromagerie Le Detour
Nice place with a good selection of cheese. It also had maple syrup, honey, wine, sauces and dips too. They are conveniently location. 1.5 km from the highway so not much of a detour. They have a cute patio where you can eat your food too. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the products are very good. The stop was 100% worth it!

Thank you so much for your delicious efforts we enjoyed on our way to NB. We were sorry to miss you on the way home. Website says closes at 6 but we arrived at 5:15. Disappointed but still one of our favorite stops . See you next time.

Our first stop once we cross the Quebec border! We love their cheese curds. Such a quaint stop and the perfect “welcome home”.This shop is exceptionally clean, and we love the terrasse area for a little break from the road - only regret that it was damp from the rain, but we can’t control the weather!We will be back for more cheese soon.

A fabulous selection of delicious cheeses. You can watch them make cheese! The cheese curds are FRESH, usually packed the same day they're made. Their ice cream's great too. An easy turn off the TransCanada highway. It's a gem.
