I have known Dan as a friend for a long time and I have trusted him to repair all of my favourite vintage amplifiers over the years. One word comes to mind- integrity. He treats his work with the same high level of character that he treats the people in his life. His work is absolutely impeccable. He goes above and beyond every job to make sure that not only is the customer happy- but that he is satisfied he's done the highest quality work he possibly can. Men like this are harder to find today than ever been.There is nothing like the feeling when your favourite old priceless amp is down for the count and when you get it back from Dan it sounds better than the day it was made.I can't say enough praise for this craftsman. I had a Mesa-Boogie Mark V that needed looking after. He's incredibly knowledgeable and gave me a full rundown of the diagnosis and what went into the service. It was transparent every step of the way with my amp and you could tell he had a standard for excellence. He doesn't cheap out, either, and the final product is high quality, everything I could ask for. He was also communicative and a really great guy too, you know your stuff is in good hands. He's the first one I'm calling up if I ever have a gear issue again, I highly recommend him.

It's rare for someone providing a service to be as excited about the product as you are. If you have an amp in mind, Dan can either build it for you or tweak it to fit your specific needs. The JTM50 he built me is absolute quality. All hand crafted and hand wired. The build takes about a month to finish. This is a good thing though, as Dan will reach out to you every single step of the way to confirm and educate on the amplifier you ordered. You will rest assured that he is the real deal.

Where do I start…. First of all, 5 stars isn’t enough. Incredibly talented, friendly, personable guys like Dan are rare these days. I had Dan build me a custom 68000 series amp, and all through the process, he was AMAZING to work with!!! I had a bagillion questions, and he ALWAYS responded to me super fast. The amount of attention to detail is hard to describe without seeing it in person- impeccable cabinetry, top quality components, hand-wired deliciousness all in a very affordable (when compared to originals, or other custom built amps) package that YOU can customize!!! If you want the best of the best, without sacrificing a kidney, then Dan will make you a very happy customer!!! I wish I had discovered him earlier in my playing career, but it’s never too late to own a dream amplifier made with the care and quality control that is hard to find these days. Give him a shout- you won’t be sorry!!!

Dan is fantastic! My Fender Hot Rod Deluxe was in need of some love, and I happened to hear about Dr. Dan so I reached out. His communication was great and his work even better!
