Canada Moving

We had a move and Chris, Danny & Ethan and they could not have been any easier to work with. They arrived on time, listened to our requests. They worked quickly but carefully. They were very very polite. I would recommend this team if you are moving.

I will be recommending this company to everyone I hear may be moving. I received the very best service and it far surpassed any other moving experience. The gentleman and his younger helpers were efficient and friendly. They took great care of my belongings and took initiative on their own to wrap all furniture items carefully, etc. I am VERY happy with the job they did and so very much appreciate it all. Not only was the service exceptional, but they charged exactly as quoted (not something I experienced with other moving companies in the past at all) and was very reasonably priced. Dave, Jamie and the young fellow (sorry we forgot your name) were amazing movers. It was a difficult move going up and down 3 floors of stairs but they are hard workers and so polite and considerate. I would highly recommend Hoyt's moving in Saint John to anyone. Thank you to these amazing young men for making a stressful move so stress free for us.

We had an excellent experience with Hoyt's for our move from Saint John to our new home 60km away. The two movers were very friendly, professional, efficient, and very kind to our little dog! Would definitely recommend their service.

Hoyt’s helped us with our recent move and we were very pleased with the service. The crew members were friendly, professional and worked very hard despite the heat of the day! We were moved out of one house and into our new one all on the same day! It went smoothly and we would recommend Hoyt’s to anyone in need of moving services!

We hired Hoyt's to help us move locally. Everything went well with loading up and they took extra care with special items which I really appreciated. Unfortunately when we arrived at our new build, the driver backed into the top corner of the garage/roof. This damaged the gutter and flashing. Thankfully noone was injured and they continued to work away at completing the move and were very apologetic...documenting the damage and assuring me someone would contact me to follow up. When it came time for the invoice, I still had not heard from anyone so I called the office. Kim was great and reassured me that someone would get in touch to discuss repair. But unless I paid the bill in full they would not let the movers leave. I found this very disappointing since I provided my credit card and asked that they not charge me in full until the repair work was complete. After a long day, I just wanted to be done. Again, no issues with the mover. But had issues with the company Canada Moving hence the 3 star. More on that... The following week I got a call from a private contractor who said they would drop by to have a look and determine steps for repair. While I was waiting confirmation on what and when repair was going to be done, I got a call from Canada Movers saying there was an issue with the invoice and that I was under charged. So another $200 was still left owing and they wanted to collect. I was taken off guard and relayed my frustration as there was damage to my home (well over $200 worth!!!). I refused to pay any further until things were made right as I felt that was more than fair on my end. They agreed. Work was completed by the original gutter installer due to the extent of damage (more of a replacement than repair really) which I was pleased with. The private contractor followed up with me. I never heard back from Canada Movers so I assumed all was well. Then I got an invoice over 2 months after the fact for the remaining balance. Still no follow up from Canada Movers. If I could hire the individual guys who did the work I would...despite the damage caused to my home. But I would not deal with Canada Movers again for the simple fact that the customer service was terrible and follow up non- existent.

We hire Hoyts Saint John NB for our move across town . This is our second time using this Company and I gotta say they are awesome and reliable . Chris Dave and Craig had such care and attention for your belongings . They work together as a team deciding best practices for loading and carefully packing and protecting our items … They even called in extra reinforcement thanks Murry and Bruce who showed up to give the boys a hand as we had 40 stairs for the team to climb and they did it with no complaints ( sorry Guys ) if u r considering using Hoyts do not Hesitate they knocked it out of the park twice for us and both times not a dent or scratch such professional gentlemen also a shout out to Michelle Mazerolle for a quick timely quote and arranging the move .

We had a good service experience all the way through. From the prompt response to my initial request for a quote, to the office staff who answered our questions, to the person who visited our home to assess and provide us with a quote (the quote was pretty much right on in terms of cost). Between the quote and the actual moving days, there was a little confusion around dates, but this was sorted out and movers arrived to pack up our items. All of our breakables were packed carefully and everything arrived intact. Our items were safely kept on trucks as we waited for the keys to our new home, then they were delivered by a different crew. A slight difficulty as the truck wasn't able to get into the driveway under the electrical wires which were hung a bit too low for a 3.9 meter truck to fit underneath. Problem-solving on the spot, the crew figured out how to park and started unloading. Quick thinking to resolve icy conditions on our deck and driveway keeping everyone safe. Everyone was respectful in our homes, and friendly as well as hard-working. We found it to be a good experience and one we would recommend. I hope all of the crew involved in our move receive the bonuses they deserve from this positive review. Thanks to Hoyt's for being our partners during this stressful transition in our lives.

Great experience moving on Saturday to our new apartment in uptown SJ from our home in Quispamsis and then on Monday to storage in Moncton. Chris and his team (Jamie, Ethan and Brandon) were professional, easy to work with and made the whole experience enjoyable (even through the rain and sleet). I would recommend them to anyone
