These people are government endorsed crooks. They use your money to make interest off it before sending it to the family's. All my debts paid to spouse. 8k. FEMP still going against court orders and attempting to garner wages for a debt that's paid. Losers. If your family works here. Remove them. Best interest of the kids. I pay all to the spouse. Zero to FEMP. They are a useless waste of tax payers dollars. Do better

It's not always run perfectly efficiently - it's a government organization after all - but I very am grateful for the services of BC FMEP. Before they took over enforcement of child support, the burden of financial responsibility for my really amazing kids fell solely on my shoulders, often with a lot of sleepless nights wondering how I was going to adequately provide for them by myself. This system fosters some accountability and reigns in financial abuse and I am very glad the service exists.

It's nothing more than a tool that irresponsible women use to abuse their husbands during the divorce process by forcing men to pay for children that are not theirs. It's like some kind of power trip fun for them to make your life as miserable as possible. It's a form of modern day slavery for the children"

I can’t recommend FMEP enough. They’ve done more for me for free than any lawyer I’ve paid thousands to. I see many bad reviews here and I can only assume they’re from bitter, dead beats that have been forced to be responsible for their children. If it wasn’t for them I doubt I would have received a penny of child support. I can’t thank FMEP enough!

It's a great concept, but I feel it's been poorly executed at times. If there are any issues having them resolved can be very frustrating, and it seems a lot of what they do is discretionary leaving it up to whomever is in charge of your file. There also seems to be an internal set of policies that they use to make decisions that they keep under wraps which makes things more challenging. Wish there was more transparency, accountability, and a more direct approach to this.

Outdated system. If you’re a deadbeat all you have to do is move to New Brunswick and then FMEP will treat you poorly and let the neglectful parent do whatever they want. The managers of my case and their supervisors are rude and threatened to call the police on me for no good reason tbh, and they really haven’t helped me or my son at all. My ex has gotten away with murder basically. The system is very misogynistic and oppressive. Would give zero stars if I could. Would love a reform. My new case manager is very kind but I feel bad she is very limited with her ability to help. Seriously need to reform this broken system.

The worse of the worse. We have been enrolled with FMEP since August of 2022 and so far they have done NOTHING AT ALL...since the date of enrollement, there has always been a balance of at least $2000.00. No actions, no communication...it seems that they are afraid to collect. Well...wait for more as we are going public showing the great job" they have beed done."

I am a recipient of child support, These people are lazy and literally do not help at all… going hungry waiting for child support payments. erratic send dates. Support was covered by both parents the start of this month and i have yet to see FMEP send in MY money. Totally unprofessional. If you have a job do your job.
