Excuse me there is not a single star, its plain nothing. Primarily If you suspected that appendicitis is what cause your pain, DO NOT GO HERE or YOU WILL SUFFER OR DIE, promise. Just go straigth to Medicine Hat Hospital or Calgary Children's Hospital for your kids.

If you need medical help, don’t go here. If you want to be treated in a respectful manner, don’t go here. Waited 6 hours to try and get my toddler son checked for appendicitis, left with no answer as to when we would actually be able to see a doctor. Emergency room seats were full, was plenty of room for more chairs but weren’t brought in. Was left no choice but to sit on the floor and wait, also at 22 weeks pregnant. Tried to sit across the hall on a chair but was scolded at, by a nurse, because those were for X-ray patients only. Nurse then proceeded to yell at the security guard for not kicking me out of the chair. In 6 hours, that chair never became occupied by any patient. Will not be going there again. We pay plenty of taxes for health care, least the staff could do is treat you human.

Stay away stay away. This place shouldn’t be a hospital. It’s a joke. Quicker to drive to Calgary or Medicine Hat

My sister in law had to wait 12 Hours just to get admitted to a room come on people wake up is it the the clothes we wear or what is the problem

I was there a few weeks ago with my niece got yelled at by a nurse that I didn’t give her the right things to eat or drink everything I said I did I just did it all worg, very rude and unprofessional she shouldn’t be allowed to even be a nurse

Staffs of DI department are very friendly and respectful. I wish the world is full of people like them. Brenda, you are one of a kind. :)

Absolute dog water. Go to Calgary or Medicine Hat. This place doesnt care about your health. If the nurses are any indication this place is a toxic pit of despair. Keep Driving!!

The entrance needs to have better door openers for wheelchair people to get inside the hospital and not the doors closing on wheelchair people etc.

I woke up here with little memory of why or how I got there. When I was back to my old self I found the nurses to be very caring and nice. All the test done were in a timely manor. Even with the Covid, they all were great.

4 hours to see a doctor in emergency is a joke.Agree they prioritize the urgency but 1 doctor on weekend is really not what is expected when u pay so much taxes and the population of the city.Not appreciated at all.
