Modigliani Hair

I got my hair done here, I saw the reviews and immediately thought “wow! These people seem very talented.” I trusted them with the process, unfortunately after telling them my horrible experience previously with another hair stylist, claudia reassured me everything would be ok. However, that was not the case I asked for blonde front pieces in my hair the first time and came home to my entire head orange and my side burns three different colours. I called the salon crying because I was very unhappy, luckily they rescheduled me for the next day which was nice. When I went in the second day I hoped she would understand my view on what I expected. Again, she did not… Very nice ladies, however seems like their needs to be more practice. Overall 1 star from me, and I won’t be returning, I am sorry.

The environment at Modigliani is fantastic - clean, professional, and inviting. Claudia has been my hair stylist for a few years since moving to Edmonton. She listens, works her hair magic on my long hair, and makes me look polished and refreshed. She has made great product recommendations based on my hair type and goals. I highly recommend this salon and Claudia!

I have been coming to Modigliani hair for 20 plus years. I have always had good hair cuts from all the hairstylists. They have tried many different styles through the years. With such good chair side manner.It is Worth the 30 minute drive!

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I went in with shoulder length hair and specifically said I did NOT want to lose the length. I simply wanted the front textured and wispy around my face, and I ended up with a chin length bob, choppy layers and this was exactly what I told her I DIDN'T want! Heather was the stylist - my advise to her would be to talk less and pay attention to what you're doing. She just kept cutting and cutting until I finally had to ask her to stop - the damage was already done. Now I have a horrible cut to enter into the holiday season with. NEVER again.

Super happy with my latest visit!I didn't feel rushed like at other places. Claudia took her time to listen to what I wanted and it turned out better than I imagined! Thank you so much!!

Claudias skills and talent saved me from wearing a base cap for four more weeks. I've been getting my hair done here for years! Sometimes, I used feel adventurous and try to get my hair done somewhere else, just to come back to Heather for her to fix my hair (yes, I've learned my lesson). She is fantastic and knows me and my hair; so I always walk out very satisfied with my service. The owner is also amazing (as everything is so reasonably priced), and the staff provide a wonderful atmosphere; making you walks want to come back. Love this place, and will continue to go here.

I’ve been getting my hair done at Modigliani Hair for many years and have always left a very happy customer! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and always keep up with the newest products, techniques and styling tools. My stylist is Heather, she is amazing at listening to my hair goals and making them a reality while also making sure to keep the long term health of my hair in mind. Also she is phenomenal with bang trims/cuts which is a must for me! The salon is clean and has a warm inviting vibe. I highly recommend this salon!!

The team at Modigliani is amazing and always welcoming. Their upbeat and also empathic nature makes you feel super comfy and understood. They pay close attention to your wishes and visions and don’t stop until you’re 100 percent satisfied! Great team and atmosphere! Highly recommend!!!
