Had an awesome experience here in the Summer of 2017. Started are travels here by hiring a float plane in Gold River to drop us off at the north end lagoon on the island. Spent 5 days hiking down the coast and on the last day took the boat back to Gold River. Recommend this place for a unbelievable hiking and beach camping. A lot less busy than the West Coast Trail being more remote and needed to fly in to start. Being the West Coast pry for sun but expect some wet weather. Enjoy!
