i love this market ! they have the best salads and sandwiches , nice healthy options for lunch and snacks that seems home-made !

Great store lots of options for snacks, fresh sandwiches and fruit. The store has all the essentials, bread, milk, canned goods. It's like a mini grocery store. Staff are super nice and respectful towards you. Pricing is descent as well, they do not gouge you. I will definitely be back for some sandwiches!

Tried its smoked beef sandwich, and it was good. Will come back sgain!

This place is very welcoming and very warm, all of the employees are very friendly. The food there is incredible, the salads, sandwiches and bakery! The women that works in the kitchen loves her job and cooks the food full of passion. I definitely recommend everyone to go give it a try!

My absolute favourite spot to grab lunch close to work. The salad bar is phenomenal with lots of variety and vegetarian options. The service here is always great, tons of people know the owner by name and any of the other workers on staff are always courteous. I often stop here to grab milk or lemons for the office and have never had a problem being issued a receipt despite what previous reviewers seems to have said. If you're ever looking for lunch around this neighbourhood be sure to pop in!

I had a terrible experience there, if I could give a 0 I would. No one was at the counter for a while and when the old man came he was slow and very rude. I would it recommend going there, just go to another corner store with better customer service.

This place is amazing ngl I still think about the salads though I don’t live in Ottawa - I was visiting and staying downtown very short so didn’t grocery shop and tried this place it was nearby and wow, such a surprise honestly if you are looking for solid snacks with variety they have meals you can heat up or sammies or salads both pasta bean etc. I have allergies and have a hard time dining out let alone at delis 85% of the time and JJ had options for me, frankly blown away! Plus amazing value and fair pricing which also shocked me! I met the chef too she makes everything in house fresh and everything I tried was delicious so now I’m leaving a review 4 months later because I just wanted to give this place props, it’s great, a gem and the folks working there are super friendly and helpful. I wish there was a JJs where I live!!

I go here for lunches from the salad bar often. The food is fresh, made onsite and price/weight is hard to beat. So many good options and the selection cycles daily. The Lebanese moussaka is my favourite - but you can't really go wrong with any choices. There are soups and sandwiches daily and even the discounted leftovers are a deal you'll be hard pressed to beat in the neighbourhood.

I was desperately scouring the city for water and snacks on a Saturday afternoon, during the long weekend, and during the Stay at Home Order, and this was the only convenience store that was open. What a lifesaver. The man working the cash was extremely friendly as well!
