Felt like I wasn’t being listened to at this location by a few different employees at different occasions. Seemed like I was a burden whenever I wanted to try a different pair or size. If I’m spending a lot of money on good quality shoes I want to make sure I am making the right decision.Other locations I have had much better experiences but I would avoid the Adelaide street one

Recently bought some neo boot covers from Canadian footwear. Had a very difficult time trying to find these boot covers my size this late in the season from anywhere. Canadian footwear came up in my Google search and said they had in stock. Decided to order and the bonus was they had free shipping!. It came in less than a week!! Three days earlier than the postal suggested it would arrive. I’m super happy with the purchase and their fantastic service. Will definitely order from them againThank you

My dad told me how great Cdn Footwear was in Calgary so thought we would try in Winnipeg. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!! Similar experience to the reviews below - staff were busy chatting amongst themselves and continually interrupted our appointment to talk about their holiday plans with other coworkers. Totally ridiculous and Very annoying given we were tying to buy $500 worth of shoes. Did buy one pair of keens, but would rather have given our money to someone that was greatful for our business. Do not shop here.

Good Selection Of Shoes And Industrial Boots. The Sales Guy That Approached Me Was Unhelpful And Rude. I Hadn't Made A Decision So He Walked Away. I Will Never Shop There Again If He Remains Employed There.

This place is great. I have been visiting them ever couple of years for at least 40 years. I have hammer toe toes very hard to find shoes that fit they never let me down.

I highly recommend purchasing your footwear at this location. I have plantar facitis and could not find footwear that would fit my orthotics and not look like they were for an older age group. When walking into the store I was immediately greeted by Alan and spoke to him about my issue. Alan is very experienced with their inventory and matching them to your needs. After finding my shoes with him I unfortunately had a defect. I brought them in when I noticed it a month later and Alan and Jenny (the manager) gave me no issues at all and replaced them without any hassle. They seem to always have enough staff to help and match their customers needs and they will treat you with respect. Businesses that run this way are hard to find these days because they really do care about their customers. I have no reason to shop anywhere else for footwear with how pleased I am with the service I have received. Thank you so much Alan and Jenny for making my day and giving me such a positive experience!

My recent trip to Canadian footwear store on Adelaide was terrible. After browsing for the items that I needed I was told that it would be about 5 minutes to be attended to as there were fewer numbers of helpers. I sat and waited for 20 minutes. I noticed two individuals came into the store got the items that they wanted. They approached one of the individuals working ask for the size to try on. They were helped right away. I was disgusted by that because these two individuals were Caucasian women and I am a black woman with a disability who uses a cane for mobility. I got up to leave and I don't know whether the person who was apologizing was the floor manager but they were apologetic to what had transpired. I saw privilege at its best.

Went into the store today looking for insoles. The gentleman behind the counter, who was on the phone, asked me what I was looking for and directed me to them hanging below the counter.Well I was looking at the various selections, but another worker was on the phone in front of the insoles, didn’t care what I was doing, didn’t bother to move. I waited for a few minutes and just left. I thought Canada Footwear had good customer service.Apparently their customer service is much to be desired, according to other recent reviews.Not going to ever bother with the Adelaide store.
