We commissioned Blackwater gates to manufacture, install and program our Custom Driveway Gate. from design to delivery.From the first contact with Rene the owner, to the completion of installation was a total pleasure. We found him to be Professional, courteous, friendly, very easy to work with on time and on budget . From the very first moment that we contacted Blackwater Gates about getting a custom made iron gate for our driveway and some fencing along the street side of our property, we were highly impressed with Rene's responsiveness, professionalism and efficiency. Our interactions with him have been extremely positive throughout the entire process, from the design planning, his crystal clear and open communication, very consistent professionalism to the superior workmanship of his product. Rene had no issue whatsoever with providing us with references when requested and I was astounded at the universal lavish praise he received from each and every reference I called. One previous customer even invited me to come by and see his gate which he boasted put all the others around his to shame...so I did, and...he was right! Our gate and fence are now installed and we are more than thrilled with the results. Our property has gained some pretty amazing curb appeal thanks to Rene at Blackwater Gates and we would highly recommend him any time!

Commissioned Rene to design and install a custom fence for us. He did a wonderful job, was easy to work with. When our other contractors didn't install the electrical line in time Rene too it upon him self to do it for us. Was a pleasure to work with a professional like Rene

We wish to convey our highest admiration to Rene at Blackwater Gates to capture our gate idea and requirements and the style all the way from concept to fabrication and through to the coat treatment and finally installation. Our small estate property located near downtown Calgary now has 15’ wide 7’ tall black gate which is absolutely formidable to trespassers and yet elegant to the eye. Our communication was great and execution even better. We were in no rush and so from the time the foundations were done, until the gate was installed, it was about 3 weeks. We now have an imposing work of art made of heavy steel that automatically swings open two leaf gates allowing for a grand and stunning entrance.We thoroughly endorse Rene for your next gate works project.

Blackwater Gates custom fabricated an exterior metal staircase based on fire code regulations for our business. It looks professionally built, solid and beautiful! The build and installation was done within a couple weeks. Rene is very careful to make sure you get what you are looking for, reviewing any changes along the way. Rene has done multiple projects for our business over the last year, he is very efficient with his time and his welding is clean and meticulous.
