I recently completed an apartment purchase with Jim's help. I am a lawyer myself and so I am familiar with the procedures in real estate transactions. Jim was very professional and detail-oriented. He was also very responsive. Furthermore, his fees were reasonable and very competitive. I am very satisfied with his services.

I worked with Jim in the past when I sold my real estate property. Everything was fine up to the day I signed the documents with Jim. I later found out he made an error. I called and emailed Jim to tell him of his error and to help me fix it. It was a technical error. However he ignored my call and he did not call me back to rectify his error.Fortunately the third party accepted the error and advised me that I should tell my Notary. It was a very unprofessional experience with this Notary. Jim has a short temper. I just hope this review will help him change his attitude towards his clients and not to treat his future clients the same way he treated me.

Just wanted to thank you Jim for his fast response and last minute request during Christmas as my other notary cancelled. Jim helped me through the whole process and was organized, and got everything done in a timely manner. Saved me from all the stress. Thank you Jim! Would highly recommend!

I was myself a referral to Jim from RBC in 2014. Since then, I've been sending family, friends and clients over to Jim with confidence. There was a miscommunication between the bank and Jim with respect to my request of mortgage transfer. Jim followed up with the bank multiple times and resolved the issue. Jim cares about his clients and is happy to help them with their questions.

There are lots of parking under the building, where this office is located. You can get free parking, just ask the receptionist.The office is on the 2nd floor, but the elevator makes it very much wheelchair accessible.This notary public has a courteous front desk person. She has very nice telephone manner. Michelle, the notary public, is also a very pleasant professional to deal with. We had some documents in Malay and English that needed her to notarize. As she appreciated that the documents would be sent to overseas, she made sure that all documents had been notarized properly. We signed our documents in one of their offices. The offices are well lit, huge windows, clean and most important of all, it's soundproof. This made us feel at ease discussing our concerns with Michelle. I would definitely recommend my clients to Cheung & Song Notaries!!!
